Getting a new battery replacement is a joke. Our life depends on you.

My home unit works well, but it is very noisy. the portable unit is light and easy to use. the batteries only last two hours and then need to be recharged. There are other units that last up to nine and ten hours.

Replace Unit I had problems with the base. The initial problem occurred "late" Saturday evening. I used the 800 number to see if there were other actions I could take to keep it going as I am on oxygen 24/7. The gentleman talked me through a scenario; but he advised me that he would put in a request to replace the unit stat on Monday. I had to follow-up myself early on Monday due to the fact that the unit itself was now shutting down. This particular agent got it together to have a unit shipped via Parcel Post via air, and the replacement would arrive the next day. These two gentlemen were very understanding of the urgency of the need for the unit to be replaced. I had run into problems that Monday afternoon due to no oxygen. My pulmonologist's office was able to contact a local supplier and I had a concentrator delivered to my home by 6:30 p.m.

At best your product does well locally but seems to know when i sm going out of town At a hot july 26 concert in Nationals ball pak The system failed as we arrived i was left with nothing. It was totally usless it was suposed to arrive saturday and did not get to me untill monday july30 The 10th of Oct. i had three system failures I was just able to get a replacemrnt on tne last Plane out of texas. Had it not arrived i would of missef a 12 day Cruise ttsvel. I could have beennon the ship for 11 days if it broke down the firet day I could of got help was day four I need a back susten

I like the freedom that the Inogen gives me. The first time I used it it was to go on a 2 week trip to Europe. I have had to use it during the night while I slept and it was great. I have one major complaint and that is the Inogen is advertised as weighing 2.8 pounds they for get to mention that after you attach the Battery it weights almost 5 pounds. It becomes hard on one’s shoulder especially if someone has a shoulder injury.

batteries dont stay charged for the full time

I’ve been a customer of Inogen was many years. Unfortunately, the service has gotten sketchier over the years. I used to call Customer Service, talk to a representative immediately, and receive a new Condenser overnight; now I call, listen to recorded messages (half of which direct me to a wrong department) and when I finally speak to a human, it takes 5-7 days to receive replacement equipment. In the most recent episode, I received two replacement units that did not work, or were not reconditioned, but were dirty. Finally, after speaking with numerous people I was sent an Inogen condenser which works very well.

It's a great little unit , but I've had to get a new one quite often, this one I have now has lasted longer than any of the others. I travel with it and it's awesome but it's all I have when traveling and hate to have it fault when I'm on board a ship! That's my only complaint,
