I need the oxegen at intermittent times. We bought the 4 because I needed the extended battery life for when we can travel. The problem I have with it, is it is heavy for me. I had my lung removed, and if I need the double battery it is heavy! I am 72 years old, so perhaps, someone younger wouldn’t feel the same.

Machine works great. However the sound that is similar to an iron lung or respirator is more than I expected

I think the information provided was lacking. I was surprised how much the batteries drain while the unit is not in use. I was surprised when I was told after calling you for some info that I needed to run my unit an hour per day. This seems important to maintain the unit and had I not called for more info, I would not have learned this. It would be really nice if a shorter cannula could be provided.

My new Inogen is exactly what I was looking for when it came time to face the facts that I needed supplemental oxygen for my COPD. After having been diagnosed and told I would need supplemental oxygen the first thing I thought of was the portable Inogen device. I am still trying to be active but felt tied to my o2 tank and I would run out of breath doing normal cleaning and outdoor chores and walks. But with the Inogen I can go anywhere I need and not feel desperate for breath and know that I can complete the tasks I need to and not feel tired and breathless. steve sator

I have more freedom,it is much lighter than the tanks I was using

Our unit is working good and we are happy with it. It helps provide me the freedom to be out and about again.

Need better shoulder strapping for the case holder of the Inogen 5, shoulder hurts when carrying around. Straps are very uncomfortable.
