I have used the Inogen service in the past for my mother and was vey satisfied however I have been trying to work with Kevin Bates to get oxygen for my sister. It's been a disaster he claims to return calls however only when he needs information from me will he return calls. Not only me does he say I want answer calls or return phone calls he leaves it's the same with the doctors office and everyone else. He is very hard to contact but even worse is there is no customer service line to even call to leave information or to make a complaint.

I have had my machine 10 month this is the third time it has stopped working I bought it from it'd medical I was trying to get it replace but inogen will not replace it I will never buy from them again I have got to do without oxygen and send it in again this is a bunch of crap don't buy one of these they should replace it but they want do it!

I am very upset with Inogen because, I ordered their oxygen generator for my husband who I thought he would be home from nursing home. He died on December 10, 2018. I called Inogen periodically during his illness to say he was not doing well. They would not take it back even though ALL packages were not opened and are still not opened sitting on my shelf gathering dust. My credit card used for payment is still holding purchase price as not paid for yet! I received NO help with my circumstances being nothing I could have controlled. I wanted to return to them for a credit to my card and they refused to help me. I am so betrayed by INOGEN Oxygen and do not want it to gather dust and waste the money I could use for other things being I am a widow now.

This is a nice unit however lifespan is 18 months to 2 years when you need service there is no customer service we have tried for two solid days it's not like replacing a cell phone or a pair of shoes when you need your oxygen and you need customer service it's a sad shame you can't even get a return phone call.😢

If there was a "0" or negative star rating I would have chosen that. I hold them partially responsible for my mother's untimely death due to their callous, cavalier and ineffective handling of her case. An employee actually told me I should have gone with another company and I couldn't agree more. Yes, it's that bad. (Update on 12/19/18): Got an automated response to this review the same day with a number to call so they could "learn more about my specific situation". Was told the person assigned to my case, Stephanie, would call me back. Gave my name and number. Eight days later still haven't heard back from anyone. Shocker. (Another update on 12/19/18): So, was contacted within an hour of my last update - by Brian who was part of the initial exchange. Appreciated the follow up, conciliatory nature of the call and the constraints placed upon Inogen processes because of doctors' orders language. So, just would advise anyone utilizing Inogen to write down names, dates and times of contact and follow up relentlessly. I failed to do so, and now mom will not be here for Christmas for the first time which might not have been the case had I been a lot more aggressive in my attention to following up with Inogen people.

After having the unit for less than 7 months, it alarms and sometimes shuts off. The company is great to quickly get you their equipment but once you have it BEWARE of customer service. The previous reviews must have gotten paid. I called on a Thursday night because of the warning alarms and having it shut off. I was told nothing to happen until Friday morning and they would call me. They love to say they will "flag it". No one called, so I called back and after much ado, they agreed to overnight me a replacement. Saturday came and no replacement, so I called AGAIN, and was told that there was no tracking number (they usually don't get one-right...), but it will be there tomorrow "for sure". I had to argue with him to talk to a supervisor as I wasn't sure it was ever ordered. She assured me it was. Never came on Sunday. Monday morning I called and finally got a tracking number. I was again assured it would be here on Tuesday. I looked up the tracking number and it hasn't even been picked up. So I called again and was assured it would be here Tuesday, and she insists it's "on the truck" to UPS. Sure, like I'm to believe this story just like the other 5 people that I have talked to at Inogen. They clearly just give you any story to get you off the line and who knows if it will ever arrive ---this "overnight shipping" has only taken 5 days so far.... and it's still not here. I texted the rep that sold it to me. Not surprisingly, she doesn't care either. I mentioned this to a friend who was a nurse with a local geriatric company and as soon as I said Inogen, she cut me off and said "they're the worst." TRUST ME, STAY AWAY!!

Multiple defects with the product and customer service unwilling or unable to help

You need to explain better about your product I'm not pleased with the unit that we boughtit doesn't last very long only an hour and a half and it only goes to # 3 if they would have explained it better we would have bought a different unit
