Don't believe the 5* reviews they are by inogen this company has the worst customer service. They sell a lifetime warranty but they will not honor it. I sent them the receipt and they still said that they would not honor it. The # you give is the same one that keeps giving the run around and lying constantly. They finally honored the warranty so I will change this from 1* to 2* but with the fight that is all.

Salesperson sold me on Inogen 1 G5 due to O2 level going up to 6 and higher battery capacity than older models. A G3 model arrived along with a home concentrator. Both were visibly dirty including the G3 filters. The home concentrator had been used around a cigarette smoker apparently as our room began to smell like a bar when it was in use. Hold times are very high to speak with customer service. After 2-3 calls to salesperson, 2 calls to support, and 2 calls to their clinical department, I have not found anyone willing to discuss an exchange of the G3 for a G5. I imagine Inogen will reply with "I'm sorry, please call customer care at 877..." No, I am sorry, I already did that. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that they service the entire US, their salesperson was good (maybe too good with that bait and switch) initially, and after holding 20-30 minutes, customer care was good about arranging a swap of the smoky machine and sending some additional tubing and canulas. I am handling O2 arrangements for my elderly father. I don't know how older people manage to navigate through this crap. I feel like Inogen is taking advantage of the elderly, profiting by providing sub-par service and not delivering as advertised.

I am so disappointed in this machine. I paid around $4000 from my own pocket.....first I received it and had to replace the cylinders, no biggie, then there was a recall and the whole machine had to be replaced. That is okay because you hope then it will work with no problems. Was sent a replacement within 2 days-which is nice but it only worked if it was plugged up to the charger, which is a bit inconvenient. So I called and they sent a replacement within a few days. Still doesn't work without being plugged into the charger either the wall or car charger. Seriously???Also, the app is not finding it on my phone and I have excellent Wifi and Bluetooth connection. I just don't understand why the issues now. I paid a lot of money from my own pocket in hopes that it would be a reliable machine. I really liked it when I first got it, then started having problems. Buyers remorse? This is a Rove 6.

Was waiting several weeks for my machine to arrive. I called to listen to the instructions on setting it up. It worked fine. But as soon as I turned it on my heart broke. Oh I’m keeping it but it just isn’t what I was expecting. It’s not quiet, just the opposite it makes this irritating sound. I just won’t be using it at night, and it is heavier than advertised.

Have been getting concentrator and supplies from Inogen for 6+ years. The machines I have had are good and Inogen is quick to resolve any problems with the machines. However, their supplies shipping department is another story. Every time I order supplies I specify, by part #, which cannula I want. They have NEVER sent the ones I want. If I can tolerate them I use the ones they send. If they are too uncomfortable I call, they send different ones, usually still not what I want, and I am stuck with the ones I can't use. This last order I was supposed to get 8 swivel hose connectors. I got 8 boxes of 25 each. I also have two shipping addresses and no matter how many times I verify with the representative which address to use they get that wrong too. When my current contract expires I will probably change suppliers. Not worth all the hassle.

I purchased a G5 from a neighbor's estate after only 2 months use. It worked great but had to replace the column twice in two years. I started getting an O2 sensor alarm. Called their service dept. and was told they wouldn't service it even if I paid for the repairs because I wasn't the original buyer. A 3-year-old $2500 machine is now junk. Would never buy or recommend an Inogen product to my worst enemy.

My machine went down as I’m not giving breathes. I was stuck at home since my concentrator could not leave the house. After going through the entire process of checking the machine it was determined it needed to be replaced. I was promised it would be set as a priority. New machine shipped out via UPS and the wait began. Shipment stopped dead in tracks Dallas. Inogen offered no help with getting it to me such as reaching out to the shipper. Never mind to leave the house I needed an ambulance for oxygen. I had to be the one arguing with UPS about the delay. When UPS did finally deliver, I almost didn’t receive a replacement unit since we could not get the battery off. I question if my care matters to them at all.

the one time I needed help I received none. the service tech ghosted me for 3 days and the main office told me a tube was kinked (it was not). My son came over and did their job for them.
