I am on my second G4. I have to jiggle the charging cable every time I want to charge it. Very shoddy workmanship. And these people must be crazy on the prices they charge for stuff. Their batteries are about 20 times higher than they should be. $200 for a lousy charger? $300 for a battery?If you look up the word gouging in the dictionary this company should be the description.

Wish I had seen these reviews before buying one of these units. Inogen talks a great game, but my unit has already quit two times, ask to have a refund, I doubt that will happen, have been promised a call back from Customer Care, and after reading reviews, I realize this won't happen. These people lie, and onlyn want to get in your pocket.

Their recording says that their goal is exceptional world service...NOT! Working directly with company to purchase new G5 unit (and whenever it actually arrives it better be a new unit!!!), was told by my sales rep (Troy Bradley) that I would have the unit by Friday and shipping confirmation would be emailed. Friday arrived, no shipping confirmation, no unit. My mom’s 0-2 at 84...she needed oxygen! Finally got through to customer service, learned unit hadn’t been ordered until Thurs, there was a one day business day delay and it would most likely not ship until Monday and there was nothing she could do to expedite. Late Friday received an email of shipping confirmation and unit won’t arrive until Thurs! Now, since it’s after 5 pm, all medical supply stores are closed until Monday and there is nothing I can do but watch my mom struggle to catch her breath until Mon when I can go rent a machine (!) to hold us until the unit arrives. Needless to say, calls to my sales rep were not returned. There is a possibility that Troy is new, but inadequate training is no excuse. People don’t purchase/rent oxygen for the heck of it. There is a documented need and this sales rep failed on all levels.

DO NOT BUY. I bought one less than a year ago and have had nothing but trouble. It kept having to be rebooted meaning you had to sit down and take the battery out, after you got it out of the canvass. Then wait 10 sec and put it back in. That worked fine for about a month. Then it was happening all the time and finally blew up. I called customer support for about the 4th time and they said it was under warranty. I was to mail the unit back, for $90 and wait about 3 weeks til I got it back. Mind you, this unit was meant for me to go grocery shopping, etc. as I have COPD. The woman said there was nothing she could do that was company policy and got irate with me when I questioned about a loaner or the $90. Like it was my fault. This company is a scam. My name is Oliver White. They know how to get ahold of me. I am a verified buyer, but never , ever again. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

The reason I’m giving you guys a one star is because I called the one 800 number in online states that you guys still have tanks and oxygen mask for cats and dogs when I call the number on another girl the transfer me to a girl here and she told me that they don’t have this kind of mask that’s going to tank so now it’s false ever ties in so I’ll give you guys one star rating

If you are smart you will forget this company. I keep getting bills even though my husband passed away 4 months ago. Very frustrating!

Very unhappy with my Inogen G4. When walking it only provides slightly more oxygen than no concentrator at all. I thought it was faulty and Inogen sent me a new unit. Same result. I live at 7000 feet and perhaps these units are not capable of producing adequate oxygen for an active lifestyle Not sure what to do next-Inogen won't allow a return.

My mom purchased this unit new and spent $3000. There was an issue with it and she contacted the customer service. They sent her a refurbished unit that still doesn't work. Now they are sending her another refurbished unit. So you spend $3000 but their warranty is useless. Completely not worth the money spent.
