It isn't what I thought it would be like. I only use it when I go out for my part time job transferring cars from one airport to another. If I have to walk any distance I get out of breath. My pulmonary specialist has me on 3 liters but when I am walking I have to turn it up to either 4 or 5 liters which runs down the battery even faster. In away this is better than what was deliver to me from the local company which delivered canisters which were only good for 1 1/2 hours when I am out. Sincerely,

The unit is handy, but I only have used it sparingly. I am now to the point that I only need oxygen at night and use my home concentratorf for that.

I really can't rate it because I have not used it once since I bought it. I thought it would be good for when I travel, but I haven't been a anywhere since. I slept with it a few nights when I first bought it, and I didn't like the "puffing" noise it makes constantly and continuous. Please advice! I have the Inogen 4 and my biggest disappointment is that the batteries at setting two have only half the battery life. I have two 5 hour and one 3 hour battery and I only get half that time with a full charge. Also I think the extra battery charger should be included when you buy the unit, because it seems I am always needing to charge one or more at a time. And the cost of the extra battery charger is very high priced. Also I always have to change the 7 ft hose quite often as it kinks where it attached to the unit. The Inogen 5 which came out last year is supposed to have longer battery life, but why can't you develop batteries for the Inogen 4, because I cannot afford to buy a new unit every time you upgrade. unit works fine G5 but is really loud when running. A lot louder than the other units I have. If you bump it like getting into the car it will shut off. I had decided to call about the noise when I first put my hearing aids on I thought something was wrong. Thanks for opinion let me know about the noise. I made a plastic cover over the face so I could see if it was working or not. The flashing light when I take a breath so when it shuts off I know.

For convience it rates a 5 star. For durability it rates a 2 star. For company support it rates a 3 star, I have found no one that can or will tell me how to determine when the columns need to be replaced.

I'm finding I still have trouble breathing with the Inogen when moving around. If I'm totally still works fine

I really like the portability of the unit I have now, and I'm glad I bought it with both a small battery and a large one. However, I find the larger battery to be exhausting to carry, and if I had it to do over, I would have bought another small one. I don't find it particularly quiet, but I used it at a Broadway performance of Hamilton the first time out, and no one seemed bothered at all.
