InogenReviews of inogen.com

Had to purchase my own unit because I needed smallest size and there would be another week to wait which would not Take care of my needs which were immediate They sent a bag but it is completely useless Way too small and after forcing it in systems Error signal started blinking. Had to remove from bag Need Larger bag

The service was excellent and the unit works just fine. It’s very expensive. The double battery is heavy and expensive, the single battery is lighter but has much less time and costs 3/4 as much as a double battery. I will be flying next weekend so will see how that goes. I have all the paperwork done and submitted to Delta airline. I bought an extra double battery because I have some long flights coming up.

Explain in the instructions how to use unit 24/7 (remove battery during night). Make O2 outlet so when hose is connected it doesn't kink & cut off the flow. I enjoy my unit & the freedom it allows, don't under stand why insurance is not accepted, the price takes a very large chunk out of a seniors limited budget! Jan Wedl

The Inogen portable oxygen generator is simply great when you find that a health issue or remediation is needed. The light weight of the device is convenient. The issue we are experiencing is with the battery. We got the 6 hour battery and we are just barely getting 3 hours use out of it. The cost is another area that has set us back for a few months. Manageable of you can find a payment source with a 6 month, zero percent interest deal.

I received my unit in good order and have been using ii periodically. At first I was disappointed with the seemingly short battery life until I determined that it was using more juice because I was using a setting of 5. I have since been lowered to about 1-2 while at ease, and cranked up to 5 with a higher level of activity. I am very please with the most courteous and helpful sales help from the Inogen people I delt with. I am pleased at this point with the performance of the unit. I will advise if I have any issues in the future.

I love my G5 the only drawback is the backpack. I was hoping for a small backpack that would allow for just the Inogen G5 and perhaps the xtra double battery. The one that is available is huge like the size of a camping backpack. I just wanted the ability to be hands free while giving my shoulder a break. Perhaps you have or would consider creating a smaller backpack? Other then that I’m thrilled and would have given it 5 stars … but even that small unit with a double battery gets heavy on ones shoulder pretty quickly. (Yes I do have the cart but I need to be hands free when walking my dog etc.).

Since this G5 unit is to be used 24/7. a longer oxygen supply tube could have been included. I know I don't want to sleep with the unit as near to my head as the length of my cannula. I am also disappointed that the unit is heavier than what I thought it would be. I'm small and the unit is still a bit much for me to have to carry around, another reason for a longer oxygen supply tube to be included.

I like my Inogen At Home system- the overall noise level is a lot better than my rental concentrator was- but I wish there was no "gulping sound" every minute or so.
