Relatively light and compact portable oxygen concentrator. Much easier than wheeling around tanks large enough to last 4 hours or more. Batteries are very reliable and the unit has not required service after more than a year in service. Alarms (visual and sound) alert operator of blocked air tubes or improperly inserted nasal cannulas. Can save your life. Only supplied oxygen when the patient inhales. No detected inhalation triggers an alarm. Its weight may be a problem for patients who have weak arms who do not have a way to carry around the device when they are walking about. Has made family excursions with 100 year old mother possible.
