I have called and called the number given in a letter and no answer. I wait on the line for over 20 minutes, still nobody picks up. Then I looked up the website n found a customer service number that wanted to charge to help. It was for text only. I will NOT use this company again!

Before the sale? Inogen and their sales locations will do whatever it takes to get the sale. After? Have a question or need help with something? Forget it. Example - we use the app. Lost the phone, need to re-install app on new phone. First, even to get access to the app required jumping through multiple hoops - app is free. Code to make it work? You have to beg, call, email several times to get it. After the device is paired (G5), it can not be paired with another device unless you first unpair it it from the first device. Period. First device no longer available? Too bad. Any contact with Inogen or their sales partners AFTER the sale is 100% ignored.

I recently reach out to Inogen to acquire information regarding their various systems so as to help me in making the decision whether or not to purchase one of the systems. I was directed to Kevin McVey. Mr. McVey was very quick to push me toward purchasing the most expensive of the systems which I paid for out of pocket ($3,560.00). I later learned that I was encouraged to make this purchase without being provided pertinent information that would have influenced my decision. After the system had been delivered to my home and the purchase price had been billed to my card, I received a phone call to assist me in setting up the device. It was during this call that I learned an essential part of the device required changing every 12 to 18 months and that I would be required to pay $99.00 each time this part required servicing. When I asked whether or not this was covered under the lifetime warranty I had purchased with the system, I was informed that the servicing was NOT covered in that the part requiring changing was considered to be an accessory to the system. Under any definition of the term, if a part of a system is required for safe and effective use of that system, then it IS NOT an accessory to that system. I have tried to contact a supervisor of the company to file a formal complaint, but no such authority has deemed this matter sufficiently significant to warrant attention. Mr McVey did contact me and ignored my request to speak with his supervisor, choosing instead to provide me information that should have been provided during them sale of the system. I would never trust this company to provide me truthful information regarding their products and/or services.

Assist living lost the car charger. I traveled 7 hr to pick her up to bring her home. I had to order a new one. The person told me same day air is available. I paid for it. Ordered first thing in the am so i would get it tomorrow. Well that never happened.it never left the warehouse. No ship label till monday am. Was told constantly i would receive email in a few hrs with tracking info. So now i am stuck with no way to get my mom home. She is on 24/7 oxygen. She cannot be without O2 for a 7 hr drive. So your recording saying why you started the company was to improve service of o2 is a big fat lie! So inogen your co. stinks. Knowing all the info and guaranteeing me i would get it by tomorrow. Now told monday evening. Today is fri. Unacceptable! Would rate a 0. I am sleeping in my car because i cant afford a hotel rm till monday tues. And the rehab wants mom gone. So i have to drive 7 hr with only 2 hrs of o2. So you wanna kill my mom? Horrible cust service. No one could ck why it wasnt processed.

Why can't someone make portable oxygen machine that will ran constant? I have one of ur machine and can't use it cause I need oxygen 24/7. Thank u

Purchased a new G5 unit. Liked the size and weight. What I don't care for in the constant pinging the thing makes every time it produces oxygen. Too me it is loud and annoying. Another item is the use of soft tubing and soft nasal cannulas for comfort. The soft tubing gets pinched when sleeping on ones side which produces a hissing effect when air passes through. Then there is the constant spirt of air into the nose each time that can be heard and felt. Had to quit using the soft cannulas. So buyer beware. I'll take my old dinosaur concentrator if the other room for sure.

Bad product, battery don't last try to call this people and can't get nobody to answer the phone

Service was prompt and expedient when my mother of 96 left the hospital last September. I was not given an extra battery nor another charging cord they gave me a stationary unit and a portable unit. I have called 3 times in the last few days. The portable unit has stopped working. I asked for an additional cord and battery. They said at first I could have additional cords. They said I needed a script from the doctor for the medical need for the extra battery. I got that. On the second call, they noted no documentation of the first call and gave me misinformation about the portable unit. They said they’d call me back, and didn’t. The third call too an hour after waiting 47 minutes. Again no documentation of the communications this time they said they would send out the portable unit but nothing else which would take 48 hrs. The doctor sent the script electronically but they denied receiving anything. They are polite, but I don’t trust what they say. Service is not there. Nor do they have any concern for the patients they are serving.
