I have had my Inogen for about 6 months now. It was ver quiet to begin with but not so now. Have thought about sending it in because I bought a lifetime guarantee. Come to find out I would be charged a minimum of $200 just to have it checked. After paying over $3000. for machine, I feel that is unreasonable.

Disappointed the machine isn't quieter. Pretty noisy actually. I have a G5 which is the small concentrator. Also, the cannula bends over where it is attached to the device and stops the oxygen flow if you don't notice it. There should be a way to get it erect so it doesn't bend over. Also, there is no where to store the excess tubing which is annoying. Or sell cannulas with shorter tubes.

The carry bag for G4 u it is too tight to get unit in and close. The recharge port is hidden by bag and not easily accessible. The bag is not designed to hang/place excess hose. It just drags down when using it and being mobile. The hose is long so, when plugged into top of concentrator..the weight of the hose causes it to link at connection point, I had to wrap tape to hose to keep it somewhat usuable.

Not as good as I expected. I have the G5 It is very noisy and rattles whenever it is not 100% vertical. Just walking on even a flat surface if it isn't totally upright it rattles loudly. I was not aware also that the only time you get O2 is when it cycles. I would not buy this again. Disappointed.

Batteries do not hold a charge for long after charged. By this I mean two weeks. We had to replace our unit when it stopped working after a couple of months. It was hardly used as we have a home unit as well but was going to go on a trip. We tried it and a censor failed so it had to be replaced. It was replaced but for the price of this equipment there should not be problems like these. Kind of scared if we do need to go somewhere. JH

My new Inogen machine is just OK. It`s VERY heavy, cause I wanted to get the one that would last the longest time on a charge. People there forget that women have to carry purses as well as their machine, making it double the weight/inconvenience. I wish it had a continuous flow option, too, even if it used up more power, for short trips. The only advantages over travel tanks of Oxygen, in my opinion, are airline approval, & rechargeable rather than refillable. Is that worth $3000??? That`s the decision.

Ordered and paid for the newest G5 model. I ordered the machine on a Monday and was told that I would receive the product on FRIDAY. However the product did not show up. Finally, I called the company to inquire about the situation. I was told that they were out of stock and did not know when more would arrive. Well that was not acceptable. I asked CS why I was not told about this when I ordered the machine? To their credit, they did get a machine out to me. However, it was not the model bundle I ordered and paid for. it was an older G5. The carry bag contained a very used (covered in makeup and very frayed) face mask in one of the pouches. The machine was to have 6 settings, the one I received has only 4. It did not come with a set up manual, and the batteries were fully charged, leading me to believe that this was ( is) a used or refurbished unit. Not what I expected for a $ 2300. machine. Hopefully, when the newer units arrive, the company can /will send me the one I actually ordered.

had to pay cash for mine 3K told it was not available thru medicare. Shortly thereafter local it was advertised on tv as being available thru medicare for a little as $0.00
