I bought both the carry unit and the home unit for my wife and they are everything that is advertised. My wife's ability to be more active has made her life activity much easier.

I have recommended the Inogen to people I see at the grocery store, PH meetings, the senior living center where I live and just about anywhere I am asked about it The Inogen gave me a freedom that I could not get from the canisters.

The Equipment works as advertised; I was disappointed that it does not provide for supply to the CPAP machine for nighttime use. To provide that application requires a different machine which cost $1499.00;

The Inogen Rep. was courteous, knowledgeable and when I was told my call would be returned (for whatever reason) the call was in fact returned as I was told with no waiting around. Extremely efficient staff. A well built product that gave me the freedom I so longed for. No more bulky tanks to lug around. It's the freedom of doing what you want, without the worries of carrying tanks, how much time left on the tank. You actually reclaim your life, thanks to Inogen.

My husband has used several portable concentrators over the past 10 years. While each one offered something new none offered the freedom that the Inogen does. He is more active and willing to go places than ever before. I highly recommend this product to anyone that requires oxygen and finds themselves staying home and missing special events. It's the best solution ever!

I often get asked about my unit. I tell them about the convenience and comfort and advantages compared to bulky and off balance tanks. At one point I even carried copies of the ad from the AARP magazine because it came up so often. I have had mine for 3 and a half years. I bought an additional one last spring when the Medicare time for paying was up. I was tempted to buy the 2 1/2 lb. unit, but thought I needed the longer battery. Now I am rethinking my choice because I understand the whole set up better. I had a health set back and was very glad to have a new unit to use. I see more and more Inogen users and would recommend them to anyone who needs oxygen therapy.
