I have both the portable and home units. power comsumption of the home unit far below that of the old clunker the insurance company provided.The savings fromthat alone will pay for the unit, eventually. Potrtable unit is also great,

Inogen saved me from solitude! It gives me the opportunity to go and do things I normally would have to decline. I require oxygen 24/7, so it has been a gift of life. I still use the big oxygenator when I’m home, the Inogen is always ready if I need it. I absolutely love it!

I like the convenience. I can go anywhere. We are planning a trip to Alaska on our motorcycle in June. Plan to be gone 5-6 wks. We did this 3 yrs. ago, 11,000 miles, 6wks. So I know what to expect. I would not be able to do this without Inogen. 4 couples in our early 70's. Will be an awesome trip.

Purchased the unit for my 80 year old mother. We chose the double battery option because we are out and about for hours at a time and liked the convenience of not having to worry about battery life. Our only real complaint is that she can't really handle the unit on her own because of the weight with the double battery. Very easy to accidentally increase/decrease the O2 setting when moving the unit, button is very sensitive. Unit has held up well and works perfectly for our needs.
