My husband Walter Baldwin died October 22, 2018. I called Inogen and asked for the boxes and return labels to be sent to me at my home at 460 w 24rh st apt 12F. New York NY 10011. A very nice lady Ms. Angela Scott sent me the labels and was suposed to send me the boxes for the inoge 1 home and inogen 3 portable.. the boxes only arrived weeks later. I had to call many times to get then and was never able to talk to Ms. Scott again. Never the same person. Then 3 sets of boxes arrived. I sent the two Inogens back. I know they arrived. To my surprise I received a bill for $91 withot an explanation of what it was for. I know you received the boxes on November 26. So, Inogen, ehat is going on? Marilene Baldwin Wife of Walter Baldwin

I would not purchase another Inogen. I purchased it as I wanted a portable that wasn't as heavy as the brand I was using. I've had repeated problems with the cannula folding over and when I called about that I was told to tape a straw to the cannula to keep it from bending over. The battery (,brand new) lasted 1 hr on a 3 pulse. I've not called on this yet as when I called and asked why the battery ran down a bit when not in use I was assured it was something I had done wrong. I will stick with my to heavy but reliable Simply Go. At least I can rely on a few hours of having oxygen. Oh, and when I called about bv the battery only lasting an hour I was told cnn to bv add the second battery. Well then it weighs more than my old reliable.

When I first started dealing with Inogen I felt like they could do no wrong. After I had a problem with my system I was ready to trash the whole thing. Now I am having problems again but I'm leary to call them.

If your oxygen level is more then 2 it’s not for you .makes a lot of noise and overheats when in the holder a lotofnoise not to happy with it! Lost a screw and cracked up the side,other then that it’s great

Called to request newest, smallest portable concentrator & was informed that because I lease my equipment, I am not eligible to exchange for the smaller unit. The smallest unit is only available to those who want to purchase it outright. Unfair to those of us who can only afford to lease. Also Inogen carries no nebulizer supplies , which goes hand-in-hand with oxygen users with COPD.

***Follow-up Review: After posting this, within 60 days they reached out to me by email, and I called them. They provided excellent service over the phone, recognizing the need to exchange both my G4 and the battery that wasn't working. Less than 24 hours later, a new unit was delivered to my house to make the exchange, and the battery exchange followed a few days later. Unfortunately, I bought the G3 from a different vendor (but Inogen was able to give me their information via the Serial Number), so will need to take up repairs on it with that company (sigh). Wish I had an option to pay Inogen for repairs on the G3. Lesson learned: only buy direct from Inogen. ****** I love their equipment - as long as it is working. But service is extremely poor to non-helpful. I've had difficulty with my Inogen G3 not resetting, and the answer was that I needed to upgrade to the G4. But I still want the G3 to work because I need it for longer trips. So it is now an expensive paperweight. I went ahead and bought the G4 because I was tired of fighting them. Now one of the $500 batteries isn't working (after 3 months). So frustrating.

I need oxygen, I have to pay you a high price, after the sale I learn that I will need to purchase another battery to the tune off $500 and now after a couple of years, I need to replace the "columns". I have never heard of them and only found them today. Now the question is where do I get them and at what Price? By the way, the 4 hour battery only lasts me 3.5 hours at a 2 setting and the 2 hour battery only lasts 1.5hours!!! Work that out, if I want to go to Hawaii from the west cost what are my options??
