First got my Inogen just a little over 2 years ago. 9 months into it starting having problems shutting down, and beeping for check columns. So the tech from the hospital we bought it from came and replaced it with a loner until mine came back. All was good for about 4 months and my machine kept beeping again saying check columns,. so i got another replacement Inogen and now not only the beeping is back for check columns, and gets hot and shuts down. Different times it has gone in to be fixed, in less then a 2 year period. It works great when it works

I like that it is light and quiet. I dont like it's critical design flaw thas the outflow is pointed upward and every oxygen tube put on it, collapses and the answer when I called was put a straw on it. I already tried that, it doesnt work. I tried knotting it but in moving around she pulls that too tight. Inogen needs to come up with an adapter to keep the Oxygen tube coming out of the home generator straight.

The batteries , one battery holds 1hour and 20 minutes and the other battery holds 2 hours . I thought each battery should 3 hours each. See what you can do for me.,

I've just recently started using my Inogen since at 91 and with Covid around, I seldom leave my home. I find that it helps bring up my oxygen level if I become too short of breath while on doctor trips. My only complaint is that while my pulmonologist prescribes 2 liters, I find that my Inogen needs a setting of 3 to help and even then puts out less oxygen than my large nighttime concentrator does at Level 2. So I am hoping my needs won't increase/change beyond the machine's 3 for a long time. I do like the portability and efficiency of my Inogen, though. If you have any suggestions on ways to increase the output, I would certainly like to hear them. Thank you. Donald Carson

We purchased the Inogen for the purpose of taking my Mother camping/traveling. She has to have oxygen at night. I purchased the double batteries with the understanding that they would last approximately 13 hours. We only got 6 hours out of each. I had to get up in the middle of the night each time and change them. Also, the alarm kept going off, because she would sometimes open her mouth when she fell asleep. Battery life was our biggest issue.

I purchased your G5 machine a month ago and I have already had to have it replaced twice. I am not very happy with the defective products so far

I am renting a G3 thru Medicare. Due to lumbar stenosis I can carry max 10 lbs. Well that's my itty bitty 5 lb dog & this machine. Because I had no choice I had to move, am 20 steps up...I NEED the smallest machine. I read I can rent from Inogen but some of these reviews are scary. Medicare takes good care of me but this thing is too much for me. Suggestions from Customer Service...which is the smallest, how much to rent, how are patients using these small units for night sleep, is it going to work (ref bad reviews)? I have Emphysema...no room for lousy equipment and/or service.
