It really not a good oxygen machine for the reasons . after it runs for a few hours than the warning light comes on . then I got to pull the bottom off an clean the tubes (cells) and put it back together an hope that it will work to get me back home. can't depend on going to far and than the yellow light come, on.got to carry a spare oxygen machine with you at all time to be safe to make it back from a long walk.This has happened to many times for me that I don't trust it anymore.I will be calling Inogen here as soon as I can to solve this problem.

I have had a lot of trouble with my Inogen since I got it I’ve had it probably almost a year, I have had to send it back at least 3 times I keep the batterie and send box back. I have a lot trouble when it comes to turning it on I’ll turn it on and it’s like I have to prime it to get it to understand I’m taking a breath. I have to hold my thumb over the top on the little silver place where you put the hose on so It can recognize if something is there and that’s happened with the last two just one and one I had before the first one I had it got hot and started making some weird noises. These are refurbished I guess end it seems like somethings being left out because I didn’t have to do that with my first one.

I found the pulse to be a challenge to get used to. I have to time my breathing which causes me to pause in conversations. People assume I finished speaking when I stop to inhale so they talk over me. I would have gone for the heavier constant flow if I knew the challenges with pulse, that being said, it's easier to get around with thàn dragging a tank around.

Misinformation with sales didnt get it overnight as promised. Way to heavy. And was told it was not covered by Medicare when you advertise on tv that it is. Very disappointed after spending $3100

I have had a problem since the 1st Inogen 5 I purchased. The first time; was for the connection to plug in the charger went bad. A new one was shipped to me. The second; was for whenever the unit got on an angle, the unit would rattle really bad. They sent out a new one, Now; I am having problems between the charger and the batteries or maybe the unit When I attach a fully charged battery it displays ok, but sometimes the time left will be wrong. The unit might show 96% with only 20 minutes left. Right now I am using the rattling unit because the one that was sent to replace it; the time vs. charge was really messed up. And the reason I still have the rattling unit is because a shipping box and label were never sent to me. I LOVE my Inogen! I really do. I just seem to be the person that is bearing these problems that we have tried to fix.

After paying 3,000 00 some dollars you would think that the machine would last longer then 6 months...Iam very disappointed in the quality..I hope that when you sent me this machine that it was a new one and a refurbished one...plus when called to get a new one, we had to call many times to get it set up..not HAPPY with inogen...

I bought the unit for my mother online because I could not locate a dealer and she needed it asap. A problem occurred with it and, because I was out of town, a local Inogen dealer was not allowed to pick up the unit and send it back for repair. I should have bought the unit from the dealer but the inogen sales person online seemed so trustworthy. Never told me you had to mail it back and could not go through a dealer even if I paid for it. I wish I had bought a Philips unit and would not recommend Inogen to anyone.

This would be a great unit IF it worked. First, the hose KINKS at the connection to the unit. There is no getting around this and it becomes permanent. For the price of this unit one would think they would fix this. Even garden hoses come with such a device. My son-in-law finally cut a piece of rubber hose and slid it over the end and taped it. Next, the unit shuts off by itself WHILE in use. I am very displeased with this purchase. Their customer service lacks in that once the unit is purchased they basically don't care about any issues.
