No, I do not love my Inogen. It’s very noisy and the on/off button is difficult to use if you have strong healthy fingers. If you maybe have arthritis or other dexterity issues you will really be frustrated. I explained my frustrations when they called to check on me. No solutions offered. If you look at the Inogen website, it shows a nice elderly couple sound asleep right next to the unit. I can only imagine the unit is either off or they are very hard of hearing. I have to put the unit on the far side of the house and run a 100’ tubing to it in order to get any sleep!

I sent an email to you that we purchased the wrong battery for my Mother’s Inogen G4, Model 400 oxygen machine. Her machine takes a BA-408 battery and I would like to purchase an extra life battery for delivery to her address in North York, Ontario, Canada. Can you pls advise the cost and I will give you a credit card to pay for it including shipping, tks. Claude Oppedisano

We have purchased two unit at different times. One unit will produce oxygen but will not charge the batteries, the other will not produce oxygen but will charge the batteries. We have been getting along but it is a bother.

I am very disappointed in this so called portable oxygenator—too heavy and cumbersome ! Also, maintenance is difficult for me as at my age I have physical limitations and no one to help me.

Unfortunately my father was never able to use this device, he passed away before he had the opportunity. He spent $4000 and there is no return and no refund.

Warning! Inogen discriminates agaisnt people who pay cash for their units! My home Inogen oxygen unit has been having problems for WEEKS! I called in several weeks ago for service. I did everything they said. The same codes and issues kept occurring, leaving me without oxygen. I called in for service again today. After 30 minutes they finally agreed to replace the defective unit. However, as they previously had done, today they REFUSED to expedite sendin the replacement unit. I had previously provided Inogen the medical documentation they required to recieve expedited replacement of defective units. They refused to even check the file to see that previous units were sent 2 days mail because it is medically unsafe for me to only use a pulse unit at night because my heart rate falls below 42 beats a minute. The line lead kept saying "no amount of medical documentation would allow a CASH patient to recieve expedited replacement of a unit." I asked to speak to a supervisor. They refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. They refused to provide a phone number, or email for me to contact a supervisor simply because I paid cash for my 2 Inogen units! They just kept saying they discriminated against CASH patients and were going to keep discriminating against CASH patients!

Do your research. I purchased a G5 which they still sell for over $3000. I have been calling Inogen for over a year to get my machine repaired as it won't charge. I am using loaner. I waited on hold Monday for 55 minutes to be told someone would call me back. No call back. Today I phoned again and was told now that the machine is "too old" to repair and that I can buy a new one for $3300. Throw the old one out. There must be a more reliable machine out there.

I have my current unit since January so for 5 months. I got the same error messages that I got last time they replaced my whole unit. This time they told me I needed new columns. Now I was told columns last 12-18 months, now at 5 months I told I need new ones for the same error codes I got last time they replaced my unit. False advertisement! And why the difference answer this time? They refuse to give answer why this time is different.
