Originally I had to rely on the compressed oxygen tanks from my medical supplier. They are cumbersome and difficult to lug about and each one only contains 2 hours of O2 so I was really limited in what I could do. The Inogen is compact but heavier that I anticipated. I am able to distribute the weight evenly though with the shoulder strap. Each battery is advertised to provide up to 6 1/2 hours of use, however the longest any of my batteries last is more like 5 1/2 hours. However, with the plug that works in the car I am able to charge the battery while I am driving and it does keep me out and about much longer without worrying about running out of O2. Inogen has provided me freedom to life my life to the fullest.

I love the Inogen. It has made my life so much easier. The only thing I wish is that the batteries could be charged separately from the unit. Some kind of a separate charging unit so you can charge one while using the other one. Otherwise it is wonderful! Thank you for all your help. The customer service is 5 star! Kelly was the best!

The Inogen is wonderful! It has given my husband mobility he did not have with his old tanks. We have even been able to take a short car trip! This would not have been possible before.

Loving the new Inogen in my life. Still getting used to the weight ( I weigh 85 pounds so it is still a wee bit heavy for my to carry about, but adjusting). Learning how to adjust the amount of O2 when going out so have plenty. (have it at a 2 instead of 3 - at home - ). But it is wonderful. Thank you so much.

I bought the Inogen 5 for my wife so she could go to doctor visits, hair appointments, eic without having to carry heavy oxygen tanks. I works great.

I can use while I vacuum and mop my floors. Shopping is much easier. I just put on my shoulder like a handbag and off I go.
