400 dollars in junk sawhorses
ordered 35 inch horses. they came damaged. paint was scraped off, looked as if they had a couple years of wear on them. Still haven't received a return label. Then I got the 27 inchers after discussing with a co worker who owns an older set, he said buy the 27 inchers if you are sending the others back," So I did, and I thought I'd give you guys the benefit of the doubt and use you again... I shouldn't have. The saw horses came with scuffs again, but I didn't care at that point. I assembled one set and clamped it in a 2x6, and low and behold, that center bracket that is level in every picture was no where close. It went so far down that it actually released pressure from the 2x6 before locking. Your brackets are too short, or you drilled the holes too far down. Regardless, I double checked the 35 inch set I STILL HAVE because you wont give us a return label, to see if the problem was the same, and it was. the bracket was a good 1/8th inch away from the edge of the angle iron frame when lined up with the holes for the bolts. So by the time the point on the bracket locked against the frame it was so far down that it released pressure. Also one of the sets of the 27 inchers was completely jacked out of alignment with its counterpart. It wouldn't even lock on the 2x6. I have pictures of all of this to provide if necessary. i watched videos of the assembly and use. and that bracket is always level. Mine had at LEAST 1 1/2 from level.
