Worst experience we had in Morocco.
Worst experience we had in Morocco. On Friday the 8th, we ordered a taxi through this company from Marrakech to Anima Park. The app showed a reasonable fixed price of 135 DH one way. Shortly after, we received a message in Arabic saying the trip would cost 600 DH for both directions. We translated the message and thought it might be a mistake, since the app had already shown and confirmed a fixed price. When the driver arrived, he told us he would only take us if we agreed to pay 600 DH. He explained that the price included waiting for us at the park and driving us back. For comparison, through Booking.com, the entire trip — including transfers and park tickets for 4 people — was only €53. Because of this situation, we decided to cancel our trip. Unfortunately, the story did not end there. The taxi driver shared our phone number with other drivers, and we started receiving multiple messages from them as well. I will make sure to share the details of those numbers publicly. The Moroccan government is trying to increase tourism, which is a positive sign of development. It is very disappointing that taxi drivers are allowed to behave this way. Instead of showing tourists the beautiful side of the country, this experience showed us the worst.

Dear Customer, Thank you for reporting this very serious issue. We are deeply sorry that your trip from Marrakech to Anima Park was disrupted by a driver demanding 600 DH instead of the confirmed 135 DH, and that he shared your phone number with other drivers. This is completely unacceptable and violates our policies. Safety and transparency are our top priorities, and we take harassment and price manipulation very seriously. To escalate your case immediately, please provide us with the following: 1. Your phone number or email associated with your inDrive account. 2. The exact date of the incident (Friday 8th) and the trip ID from your app (if available). 3. The driver’s name, vehicle details, or license plate number. 4. Screenshots of any messages you received from the driver or other drivers (you may blur any sensitive information). 5. Any phone numbers that contacted you after the driver shared your information – this will help us investigate the breach of your privacy. Once we receive these details, we will carefully review the case, take appropriate action against the driver, and work to prevent similar incidents in the future. We sincerely apologize that this ruined your trip to Morocco. Thank you for helping us improve.
