One man arrived on the day of installation and I was concerned because of the heavy furniture that needed to be moved. He assured me he could handle the job. I left him with my husband and went shopping. When I returned close to three hours later, to my amazement, he was finishing up. He had done a wonderful job. Not only had he finished the job, he had completely cleaned up, removing the old carpet from the house, returning all the furniture to it rightful place and the room is beautiful.

I ordered a Kane area rug but it arrived with a large manufacturer's grease-type stain on it. Independent Carpet ordered me a new rug without reservation. When the second rug arrived, they brought it to my house and hauled the soiled first one away. Great service! I would highly recommend them.

We have a smaller kitchen and were trying to decide on flooring. We were undecided about porcelain or an Armstrong product. They had more color options in the Armstrong product. In fact we had already almost decided on 1 color from a different store and took a chance stopping in at Independent One . We found a better choice there. Also they gave us very detailed itemized estimate. Installlers were very good and cleaned up well.

I've used carpet one a number of times and they"ve always done a great job....would recommend them to anyone!

My positive experience began with Jason, my sales rep. He always addressed my many questions via phone and e mail during my selection process. He was patient since that showroom is overwhelming with choices. When my order arrived, Jim in the installation department gave me the day I asked for on their schedule. The other prep projects I had to complete were done earlier than anticipated and Jim was able to move up my installation date by one week. The contracted installation team of John Phillips and his sons, Jack and Allen arrived exactly the time they said they would. They were friendly and professional and have a great sense of humor which eased the stress on my part of this project. They took great care throughout the process with my furniture and freshly painted walls. Their experience and attention to detail were evident in every way. I didn't have to pick up one loose thread after they left for me to enjoy my "new home"!
