I feel that the videos over sell the actual river action. Out raft guide was not very skilled at reading the river and we found ourselves caught on rocks on a slow flowing river. Additionally I feel that the rafts that carry people should not have to also carry the supplies for the lunch stop. This equipment makes it hard to move from one side to the other on the raft when you are having to change the weight balance on the raft to get free from rocks the raft was stuck on.

Larry, The videos you saw were filmed at normal water flows. This year was the 3rd driest year on record, so more rocks were showing and the waves were smaller. Getting stuck on rocks more often is a result. We do our best to explain conditions ahead of time when this happens.
