After one order, my food was all smashed into multiple pieces. First off, the deliverer didn't even ring the doorbell to let me know that my food was here. Additionally, the food that I received wasn't even the correct food that I ordered. I signed up for a 20% discount, and the company lied to me by changing me the full amount. Nothing was packaged, and the food was thrown into a small box. What I got was basically garbage. I felt completely scammed by this company. Your money will go so much further in a local store.

First, I received a shipment I did not shop for or authorize. I contacted customer service and they graciously refunded my money-said to refuse or keep the products. That is where my good feelings about this end. I opened the box and everything was wet, either from the thawed out ice pack, the bloody chicken that was thawed and leaked all over, or the smashed oranges that were in the box. Not only was this $50 shipment unauthorized, it was unsanitary and most probably was unsafe. Needless to say, everything went in the trash. Stay away!!

I was just about to sign up and I'm so grateful I read the reviews. The same problems stated in reviews over and over don't lie. It's actually quite disturbing that a company would value customers as little as they clearly do.

Want to know the reality of what its like working at imperfect foods? There is garbage laying around everywhere. Oh and the food isn't even all "imperfect." They also dont reuse ice packs or boxes like they claim to customers they just let them pile up around the warehouse. There is tons of plastic waste here which seems very counterproductive to the mission. Along with the fact that they don't invest in workers, they would rather have all temporary workers so they don't have to pay benefits. There is alcohol and drug bags all over the parking lot. We even found a used condom inside, nice right? There isn't even enough parking for employees. Imperfect Foods completely lacks integrity. They have compromised their so called "values" trying to become profitable. Corporate greed at its finest. There are no standards at this company, purely just trying to make money off people who think they're doing something good for the planet but creating tons of inorganic waste in the process. It's called #greenwashing look it up.

SCAM!!! They will process your order even if you don’t check out. Read the fine print. Cancellation is virtually impossible. You will have to contact your bank to stop payment. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I see they respond to everyone with the same automated message, it’s BS too. They don’t fix anything.

All produce was super small. I am fine with ugly produce, and I don't mind small produce. But when the box arrives with barely any food inside because it's so undersized, it hurts because their wasn't anything in there to feed my family with. I would have still given them a 4 star review because they delivered on their promise of low quality produce and the fault was mine to expect anything more. However, after cancelling the prescription, the sent me another box that was worse than the first! So now I felt not foolish, but betrayed... thankfully the second time I cancelled they stopped sending the boxes. The Best thing I got out of the purchase were the icepacks and the insulated boxes the produce comes in. Basically: It is about the same quality produce as your standard discount grocery store, just twice the price.

Will never order again could have gone to store and got better produce for cheaper. Won't let me post photos but I have them of half rotten broccoli and celery cherry tomatoes with rotten ones mixed in the potatoes have mold on them. To make it worse got bacon and sausage they out a normal ice pack to keep it cold it had completely melted and meat was warm 🥵 wasted 40 bucks on trash.

Don't use this service if you want your food fresh and on time. My family has used Imperfect Foods for a year or two. Loved it at first, got to eat some great-tasting food that I would not otherwise be able to get in my town. However, the deliveries have been awful. There are countless times that we get our food smashed or late or not at all. We have reached out to Imperfect Foods about this on multiple occasions. They provide a refund but it doesn't help because I still have to go to the grocery store and pick up what they refunded me for, so it's pointless. I'm not sure if the Imperfect Foods delivery service is any better but FedEx Ground doesn't give a rip. We have complained and complained and they are either unwilling or unable to make it better. I can't use this service anymore, it's pointless. I agree with the mission statement and I love the idea of using the food that is going to be tossed away wastefully.. But the service just doesn't meet the expectation. DO BETTER!
