iMovRReviews of imovr.com

We experienced a delivery and a customer service issue that were later addressed and resolved by upper management. The desks are on the pricey side, but they are well built and have good functionable features.

Initial review: The Jaxxson desk I bought had a good desktop as advertised. However, the electronic controller did not consistently work properly. The company also abandoned the app for my desk over a year ago and keeps lying that they are working on a replacement. On top of that I found out the review site I used to choose my imovr desk is semi secretly run by them. They're a dishonest company that doesn't stand by their products. I'll never buy from them again. Stay away. Update March 2026. I was reached out to by an iMovr representative after leaving my initial review. He explained that a new company had taken over and was working to fix issues left by the old one. Specifically my desk no longer had app support. They mailed me a new controller that doesn't require an app and I was able to get my desk working properly again, this time with 4 height settings instead of 2. The new representative was very apologetic and upfront with me. He also explained that the review site I mentioned isn't under their control (anymore) so there's nothing they can do about it. It was really nice to have my issue finally fixed after over a year of problems. I figure since I had so many issues that they now fixed I witched my review from 2 stars to 4.

I ordered a Jaxson Corner Desk with walnut top. I received my order, which was incorrect. I have an angled wall in my office and was looking for a corner desk with a 32.5" angle. The Jaxson 65"x65"x24" was spec'd with a 32" angle, which is why I placed this order. The desk I received was 65"x65"x24", but had a 40" angled corner. Imovr specs a 40" angled corner on their 65"x65"x30" desk. It appears someone in their production group did not read the order correctly. With the holidays I didn't want to wait weeks to get the correct desk. I installed the 65"x65"x24" with the 40" angled corner. It works, but there is a 4" gap at the back. The one I ordered would have fit perfectly. While disappointing, the quality of the desk is outstanding. They just need to get orders correct.

The keyboard tray is a good purchase and arrived in the timeline promised. The most frustrating part was when I drilled all my pilot holes into my desk AS PER THE TEMPLATE included, I noted that the template did not line up with the holed needed in the actual mount. It was very frustrating and resulted in 6 additional holes being drilled into my desk.

Easy to assemble, love the desk and cabinet.

I ordered the Stowaway Keyboard Tray to attach to my Fully Jarvis desk, and I am loving it so far. A huge improvement on typical keyboard tray designs with their clunky under-desk tracks. This one is streamlined w/ minimum extra metal hanging down under my desk and bumping my knees, and the horizontal track and rotating stowaway design are truly innovative. It's sturdy, and highly adjustable. The horizontal track offers another benefit (aside from fitting under standing desks), which is that sometimes I'm not sitting exactly at the center of my desk (e.g., if I'm focusing more on one monitor than the other, or if I have bulky items under my desk or on top of it). In these instances the keyboard can slide to the right or left with me to help me stay in ergonomic position. Also, it can be pushed to one side or the other to avoid under-desk accessories when stowing away. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 b/c the documentation/instructions that came in the box were inadequate and misleading which led to a frustrating experience putting it together. (Support was responsive and courteous, though.) Also because the mouse arm does not stay put unless you slide it partially on top of the keyboard tray.

Order process was good but then the two parts of my desk were shipped separately: I received the base but had to email the company to find out what happened to the top. They responded that it hadn't been shipped and have me a new tracking number for the top package. It appears that it had not been shipped and might not have been without me following up because UPS did not receive the package until I asked them to check on it. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying to have to follow up in order to get my whole order shipped. UPDATE (Oct 10, 2024): iMovr reached out about my ordering experience and clarified a few things. I still think they should make it clearer on the site that the desktop and base do NOT ship simultaneously and there should not be any confusion about tracking numbers (which they did not provide for my desktop until I asked). Desk is great, works as advertised, feels solid and well made, happy with the purchase.

I was happy with my experience with ordering, etc. The mat was a gift for my son who lives across the country and he got the mat recently. He seems to like it, but he hasn’t had it long so I don’t have a lot of feedback. My one complaint was that it took longer to get shipped and delivered than I anticipated. Faster shipping would be good.
