About Image Tours

Roelof Postmaa, Sr., an educator in The Netherlands, founded Image Tours in 1939 in Amsterdam. He began taking his students and their parents on trips as a hobby. Recognizing people’s need for guidance in planning their travels, Mr. Postmaa developed a successful business hosting tours throughout Europe. He firmly believed that travel broadens one’s horizon and enriches one’s mind.Mr. Postmaa’s son, Roelof Jr., began assisting his father in the family business while still in high school. Roelof Jr. opened an office in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1960 and began offering the company’s signature HEART OF EUROPE ® tour to groups such as fraternal organizations, employee associations, churches, school choirs, orchestras, and marching bands. In 1986, the company began partnering with travel agencies to offer their escorted Europe tours to the general public, thereby becoming firmly established throughout the United States. Today, Image Tours is led by Monique Kasmauskis, the daughter of Roelof Jr., and her husband, Mike. They, along with all the Image Tours associates, are dedicated to providing Superior Value with a Personal Touch. Thanks to this dedication, Image is often praised by both travelers and travel agents for courteous service, meticulous traveler preparation, and flawless execution of its tours. Our HEART OF EUROPE ® tour has endured since 1960, and has been enjoyed by thousands of first-time travelers to Europe. In addition to the HEART OF EUROPE ® tour, Image Tours offers several other fine European tours (click here to browse our tours).

World War II Tour
It was a great tour and Fred was a exceptional tour guide. Both of our drivers were very nice and highly skilled. Fred made extra effort to show us the sites and make our experience better than we ever expected. We have traveled a lot but we can say it was our best vacation.

Wish we hadn't used Image Tours
Our guide could have been better. The quality of accomodations and food was below average. As an example, after our paying thousands of dollars for the tour, we were charged a dollar for bottles of water on the bus. One would think something as basic as bottles of water would have been provided. With us, and many of the other participants, things like this were a matter of principle and very disappointing, not to mention being downright cheap by Image Tours. Never Again!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Offering bottled water is a service provided directly by the motor coach drivers due to multiple client requests, and has been favorably received by previous travelers. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

Super Tour Company
We booked our European Tour through Reynolds Tours and had a wonderful time. This was the third time we went to Europe and the best. We went to see our friend in The Netherlands who was very sick. Our tour director gave us excellent information including what taxi to use.

Wonderful, comprehensive, organized trip!
Everything from accommodations and meals, the knowledge of the tour director and the skill of the coach driver was top notch. The optional excursions were the icing on the cake. We can't wait to take our next trip with Image Tours.
