I bought these products as it said it’s clean ingredients. I used the serum spf 30 for a few days, it had a very strong chemical smell with foundation like solid color. After using this 2-3 times it broke me so bad that people started asking me how I got such bad skin reaction suddenly. I got painful acne. I stopped using the product for a month and my skin cleared. I was preparing to conceive, so I switched to the CLEANER product again as I already Had it. Shockingly, it broke my skin bad again. I had painful acne to touch. This time it was bad as I was using 2-3 products from the brand. My bad. Poor decisions. I highlighted this to the brand via their support email but they didn’t reply at all. I put so many follow up emails but no response. Their products are really expensive and I had no issues spending if it were really clean and care for sensitive skin. This company is a red flag. It ruined my skin again after I got it cleared using micro needling and prp. All that money went in the bin. Plus I have horrible acne all over my face now. The company is not helping at all to return the products. Stay away from this horrible company.

My first purchase with Ilia Beauty online. Total mistake. I purchased two lip pencils and a gel eyeliner. They must have put my shipment on a slow mule from across the country - it took forever to finally arrive. It was easier for me to just go into Sephora and find/buy my items there. Once my package arrived I started a return since I now had duplicates. I opened the shipping box just to verify the contents, but never opened any of the products shipped. On the return page it shows that the eyeliner is "not eligible for return" WHAAATTT? How can this not be eligible for a return? It looks like I can't even get my full refund because of this. I went back and looked at my original order/invoice and it didn't say ANYTHING UPFRONT that this specific item would not be returnable. Very DECEITFUL. I now have a bad taste for this unethical company and will be returning the (used) Ilia products I purchased at Sephora out of principle. And telling everyone I know to steer clear.

I ordered 2 items for almost $100 and it was never delivered to me. I have reached out to customer service multiple times and NO RESPONSE. They obviously do not respect their customers. I don’t care how high volume their customer support is, that is literally not any of my business. Either do a better job or cease to exist because this company’s customer service support is trash. I want my money and I want it now.

I have been trying to get in touch with their customer service to return an item that doesn’t match my skin tone. For the price paid I would like to return it. Can someone please reply to my email and assist me with the return! It has been a week and no one has responded. Worst customer service!

First time ordering from them and it's gone awful , so I ordered late one night, forgetting I had the orange filter on when picking out a concealer, so I emailed the morning after, to asked to change the colour if it's not too late, no response , so I messaged the Facebook page , no response , I waited over 4 days for a reply , had no order update or anything over this time so I had no idea if they had read my message ,altered my parcel or even shipped it , on the 5th day after my order I get a notifcation from royal mail saying they have received my parcel , still no response from customer service from either email or Facebook, so don't expect any help with ur order after purchase, for any reason the customer service is non existent , even if they replied saying sorry it's too late to change it , that would have been fine , but no response at all is poor,won't be ordering here again

Trying to return an item - cannot get a response from various attempts - I’ve tried email, Facebook and instagram and no reply - lip pencil colour is nothing like the pictures and does not last

I was recommended a shade to purchase from ilia’s colour match service. I received an Email from ilia giving me my perfect shade! I purchased the shades suggested in their foundation and multi stick. Both shades are too orange for my complexion. I contacted ilia and I was told I was over the 60 day returns policy. In all the communications I had with ilia over email, I was never told to send the item back within 60 days if I wasn’t happy (they keep that bit quiet). I received my foundation and multi stick just over 2 months ago but I only just started using them in February. I have tried it for a few weeks but the colour is just awful for me. I think if ilia are going to offer a colour match service, then they need to either point out you MUST return the item within 60 days on the COLOUR MATCH EMAIL or TAKE RESPONSIBILITY when the customer contacts them. Unfortunately I cannot recommend ilia based solely on their customer service. *** it has taken 1 year for Ilia Customer service to reply to this comment. Really sums them up!
