I mean what can i say, its ihop lol. Not the best but not the worst. I generally prefer a "mom and pop" diner but sometimes i just want that ihop experience. It's like white castle, sometimes you just get the crave. The service is always good though.

(Lancaster ohio) it took a little…
(Lancaster ohio) it took a little while to get our food, but that's ok, as they were very busy. The staff was courteous, and helpful, and the restaurant was very clean. The reason I gave you a 3 was I noticed the tables were bussed without a cart and dish container. The staff was literally carrying dirty dishes away in their bare hands, as many as they could in one go. They looked like "work horses". Management should take better care of their staff. They work to hard to be mistreated...

IHOP on Veterans Day
We went to IHOP on military appreciation day on Tudor in Anchorage, Alaska at 1230 hours. We were quickly seated. Don't seat by the cashier register, first booth. The wind is cold from the door opening and it opened a lot today. My feet are still cold 10 hours later. After waiting 20 minutes for our waitress, we saw the people who came after us contact staff to ask, "Did you forget about us? No one has taken our order or given us coffee." We took the cue and did the same thing 10 minutes later. We suggest IHOP have a person who gives coffee, sodas, and waters before the waitresses if it is that busy. We saw only one bus person, and he was working hard, doing a good job, cleaning off the tables; he never stopped working. We waited 20-25 minutes for food, but considering the place was full and I could see the cooks, they were hustling and doing an excellent job. Our food came. It was really good and warm. A+ for the food. F for the 30 minute wait to order after being seated, especially when you see people come in, order take out, and leave with their food quickly. The waitress was nice in attitude, serve was just slow. We will be back on a day less crowded. The food is good and reasonably prices. Oh, thank you for serving all the veterans a side of red, white, and blue pancakes. Good to see that!

I have eaten at the IHOP in Burke
I have eaten at the IHOP in Burke, VA, twice and both times the food was fine but the service was extremely slow. I'm not sure why it takes so long for a server to bring coffee to the table but it does. No one seems to care. I sent a letter to corporate headquarters and received an auto response: "Thank you for contacting IHOP, the home of all things breakfast and everything delicious. IHOP Guest Relations will review your feedback and be back in touch within three to five business days, though we will work hard to reach out sooner if possible. Please be aware that this is an automated reply. We suggest keeping this email so you have your case number for future reference. Thank you again for reaching out." IHOP Guest Relations. Perhaps company indifference starts at the top.

A great time with my family
A great time with my family, but my dad is gluten free, so he tends to get the omelettes. However, they put pancake mix in them! Since we are on a road trip, the way there was very smelly and miserable. Maybe mark it? Not a lot of people think about pancake mix in their omelettes, even if you serve pancakes with it. Other than that, there was a intermittently screaming child next to us, which is to be expected but annoyed me a little. The food didn't take very long, though, which was nice.
