Hey Christoffer, we are sincerely sorry for the frustrating experience. It is unacceptable that you were charged $199 after canceling on the first day of your trial - this should not have happened. Honestly, our billing software was not registering cancellations in time. We've fixed the bug so cancellations register immediately and charges require explicit confirmation. This was entirely on us. Bella, I am so sorry we put you through this. Having to empty your bank account to stop our charges is completely unacceptable. Our billing and cancellation flows clearly failed to work the way it should have. We've since built self-serve cancellation into the dashboard so that this doesn’t happen for anyone again. Our tools also relied too much on AI alone, it was our mistake not to add a human in the loop. We've since started working with real human creators and incorporated human review throughout the creative process. Hey Alex, we are so sorry for this frustrating experience. Poor output quality and unexpected charges should never be part of the experience. Long story short, the AI models we overly relied on failed to meet the quality bar we promised. We’ve pivoted and now integrate human review throughout the ad generation process. Rasmus, we deeply apologize for the frustrating experience and we appreciate your honest feedback. To be honest, we depended too much on AI for output quality but the models were not ready. We should have realized this earlier. We’ve since moved to a human-led creative process and our output quality has improved significantly. The bugs and pop-ups were embarrassing oversights on our end. We shipped features before our platform was fully ready. We’ve since replaced the cancellation flow with a one-click cancellation and removed any buggy pop-ups. Michael, we are so sorry for the frustrating experience. It’s embarrassing that we let such an annoying bug slip through to launch - we apologize for wasting your time. We’ve since completely removed that forced popup so it never blocks anyone again. In 2025, we didn’t deliver on ad quality. We relied too much on AI to generate ad creatives and it was a mistake not to add a human in the loop. We now work with real human creators and integrated human review throughout the entire process. We are so sorry for the frustrating experience, Ribbon Checkup. Our cancellation flow at the time created way too much friction and it was a mistake. We’ve since rebuilt that process to be a simple one-step button inside the dashboard. Our AI tools also failed to deliver on output quality - it was our mistake not to add a human in the loop. Thanks for flagging this Fab. Honestly, our legal and billing language was a mess. It was written during a period where the product was changing quickly and we didn’t prioritize making the terms as clear as they should have been. To be clear: you own your creative assets and output. It was never our intention to take ownership.
