Yesterday I found out that I MATCHED into Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, but we'll see on Friday exactly where! It was an incredibly difficult journey switching from working in the fashion industry in NYC to going to medical school in the Caribbean after not doing science for 2+ years. But Rahul tutored me 1-1 during my dedicated Step 1 study period and played a monumental role in transforming my confidence and study strategy for the USMLE exam question style. His 1-1 tutoring sessions and videos on Youtube and social media have made studying so much more enjoyable! His methods have gotten me through passing Step 1, the shelf exams during clinical rotations, Step 2, and of course, all the way through to FINALLY matching!! And for that, I am forever grateful!!

It's kind of a long story, but I've had to retake the Step 2 CK exam multiple times. By the time I reached out to Dr. Damania, I was exas. per. ate-. -ed. and all but a very small recess of my heart was ready to give up on this whole venture. I had tried working with other tutors and their programs in the past, but Dr. Damania @ HyGuru was the first one who I felt was really paying attention to me and the particular nuances of my particular situation. Simply put, he cares about each and every student of his and knows how to balance between empathizing and accountably pushing you to realize your potential. He does well at making study plans that meet your individual needs while also keeping in mind what has worked, tried and true, for most anybody who's taken a USMLE exam—given that he's been doing this for quite some time and has already helped hundreds to thousands of students succeed. When you're ready to give up on yourself, he doesn't give up on you. Suffice it to say, I finally passed after umpteen attempts on my own. So yeah, if you've been going back and forth wondering, he's definitely worth it! P.s. It was imperative that I found someone who was for real about offering actual one-on-one tutoring. One of the things that gave me a good feeling from the get-go was the fact that Doc displays his hourly rate on his website very clearly, which is not something that I had seen any other company do.
