The last one week leading upto test day can indeed be quite nerve wracking to say the least. HyGuru Top NBME Concepts YouTube playlist for Step 1 is relevant even today as I watched the videos everyday (alongside my First Aid and NBME incorrects revision ofcourse) and found direct questions in upto 60% of the exam!!

This course along with one on one tutoring with Dr. Damania has changed my career forever. I was really struggling with comp as an IMG student, as I attempted the exam for over 6 months on my own multiple times and I continued to fail it no matter how many different ways I tried to study. My first attempts were 54 and 48%, followed by two back to back 55% three months later. I ended up taking a leave of absence and that is when I reached out to HY Guru because I felt like my medical school career was coming to a close, as my school only allows up to 5 attempts before you are sent for dismissal. I started his Pass/Fail course along with personal tutoring sessions during my leave of absence and returned to my school three months later and passed comp on my very next attempt! I later continued the same schedule for STEP 1 prep and just received my passing score after only attempting it once! I only used the free materials from HyGuru for Step 1 studying, and they were incredibly helpful in organizing my approach and reinforcing key concepts along the way. The content was clear, well-structured, and thoughtfully designed to build both understanding and confidence.
