I used Dr. Damania's HYGURU Prep to help with Step 1 and successfully passed. Specific courses that are useful are the free NBME Top Concepts and the paid USMLE Step 1 Pass/Fail Course(specially Key Vignettes) I would suggest doing Key Vignettes first and then doing the first lesson at the top in this way you will have 2 passes of Key Vignettes. - Now to speak to Dr. Damania's character - he has gone above and beyond what would be required from your average Step-1 review course lecturer. He truly cares about the success of his students. Genuinely wish you all the best.

What resonated most with me in the HyGuru methodology was the way you broke the content down into focused, digestible modules. With the sheer volume of material that Step 2 demands, it often felt overwhelming trying to review everything without structure. Your system provided exactly that—clear, intentional organization that helped me focus not just on reviewing, but on retaining and applying the information. After failing Step 1 twice and having a bad experience with a previous tutor, I was hesitant to try again. But Rahul was different from day one. After completing about 85% of the Step 1 HYGuru course, I was able to successfully pass the CBSE COMP exam. The course is extremely streamlined and organized, encompassing all of the highest yield material in a very engaging and interactive way. The course includes study plans, flashcards, and pdfs that help you follow along with every video which makes it very interactive. I would highly recommend this course to anyone taking Step 1, especially to those that struggle with having too many resources or not knowing where to start. It is 100% worth it, you will not be disappointed. I plan on continuing using his resource during Step 1 dedicated as well.

I absolutely love Rahul's videos because 1) he's a great and engaging teacher and 2) after taking STEP 1 I can confirm these topics are truly truly high yield. I watched most of Rahul's rapid reviews for each organ system to gauge my comfort level with various systems and he broke down physiological concepts that I had forgotten about with so much ease. I love that I can use premade sheets to follow along with his videos too. Overall, his videos are an incredible content review supplement while studying for STEP 1 and I will be using his resources again for STEP 2. Thank you for everything!

HyGuru helped me through round 1 of boards, so obviously I was going to use this resource for round 2 of boards. HyGurus Step 2 course really tied everything together from third-year content. I honestly would not have passed had it not been for this course. He goes through high-yield content and more for each specialty/shelf. Dr. Damania is a great teacher, and I would not be here today without him! As someone who is just not a good standardized test taker, take this course!!! Also, I recommended this to a friend who had about two weeks left of prep for Step 2, and it really saved them!
