This thing is very difficult to clean. It is impossible to operate as an HOB UNIT. Once mounted you cant access anything. The drain came pre-jammed. The adjustment for the HOB mounting requires 3 hands and has almost no adjustment. When the main filter needs cleaning it must be removed. The filter media is a bunch of beads that go everywhere if you are not prepared.

Purchased the hugger quartz heater and bubble pad and both have failed to do what they were built to do! The bubble pad stopped working after two months and the heater stopped shortly after! A code came up for over heating and won’t reset even after several attempts! Will I invest in another hygger product? Absolutely not!

Recent een Hygger Aquarium Ledbalk gekocht voor mijn 1.00x0.60 cm (hoogte) onverwarmde aquarium. Ziet er indrukwekkend uit. Met volop mogelijkheden. Echter binnen enkele dagen zat er al veel condens in de unit en blokkeerde de verlichting. Daarnaast zijn de Leds niet sterk genoeg om het aquarium te verlichten. Ik zou deze balk voor een aquarium niet adviseren. Ga m nu maar inzetten boven een terrarium. N.a.v deze review heeft Hygger de moeite genomen contact met mij te zoeken (lovenswaardig) en heeft mij een vervangende led-balk aangeboden. Het feit dat zij de moeite nemen om mij te contacten en een aanbod doen siert het bedrijf.

I probably wouldn't reccomend buying this product. I bought a 25W and 50W Heater. The heater has been going up and down with the temperature. I set it to 77F hits the number then goes all the way back to 81F

I purchased an aquarium light from hygger directly. First they sent me a wrong tracking! Then they corrected that and sent a new one with Fedex. It has been 10 days since I ordered and the Fedex link still not updated! I still haven't received my light!! Never buy from them again!

I have been a hygger product fan. All my stuff for my 6 aquariums are from hygger. From bar lights and risers, UV lights, heaters and even gravel cleaners foe my 75 and 55G. I used 60ml syringe to clean my shrimp tanks until I saw this hygger aquarium water changer kit for smaller tanks. I was so excited using it the first time. At least I can removed left-over food in my 5G shrimp and nano fish tanks. Unfortunately, the second day, it stopped suctioning, no matter how hard I squeeze it the debris wouldn't even move. Tried cleaning the bulb and the filter but to no avail. It is frustrating. I guess I have to go back to my DIY syringe with attached acrylic tubing. What a failure on your new product, hygger!

Bought a 10 gallon fish tank thay i think may be discontinued by ivr also bout alot of other things from them that r not cheap. I have 248 reward points and thought well maybe i could get a light that would just set on top with my rewards and coupon it left a balance of $1.29 tried reachimg out but for such a great company and their very high prices you cant even get a phone number for them anymore than I can get them to call me to resolve this issue the light that sits atop the tank is probably a far cry from the price to replace the top to the tank ans becides that the temperature control only showed temps in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit how most people in the United States go by temperatures in fish tanks so I had to buy a separate temperature gauge that floats in the tank just so I know what the temperature is and can keep a good eye on it but apparently nobody wants to reach out to me so I give him one star I’m not too happy hopefully maybe somebody will get this and see it and give me a goddamn call and try to fix and resolve this 61 years old I shouldn’t have to fight with a company that I’ve spent hundreds of dollars with just to get a goddamn darn light for a top of our fish tank that actually blew so give me a call or I’ll just keep giving you bad Reviews. I’d appreciate some customer courtesy that’s all I’m asking so once again you have my number I put it in this email. No one can reach you for some reason I assume maybe that’s because of problems but it will go to the Better Business Bureau if you do not give me a call or reach out to me and make this right thank you. Purchased hygger Aquarium Heater a good few years ago and its worked OK, fluctuate temperature but nothing drastic. Today that changed it overheated in the sump and the outer case gave off black toxic smoke, to the point it set off the smoke detection in the hallway. Tanks now crashed lost the lot. Estimated loss £5000
