Their mistake -- but I paid for it
This concerns their pharmacy. They have repeatedly tried to fill a script that I no longer needed. I told them that, repeatedly, and to take it off their auto-refill list. But apparently not. I picked up another script and found -- when I got home -- that they again included this unwanted script (for 10 syringes and needles) in the stapled bag (it was through their drive-through, so I couldn't watch them fill the bag). I tried to return this two days later, but they would not. I had NO EXPECTATION that they would blow off my repeated requests to stop automatically filling this unwanted script. So I had NO EXPECTATION that they'd do it again. But they didn't care and it cost me $17.00. Im on disability and those amounts add up. I can understand a policy of not taking back something for re-use. But that is beside the point. I cannot understand why they couldn't eat THEIR mistake and give me my money back. It was their fault. But no I was told it's my responsibility to check the stapled bag. Another thing: Twice now, I have phoned them about Rx questions and left a call-back phone number and twice they never bothered to return those calls. The excuse I was told was that they were "very busy". This is poor customer service. As a bit of goodwill, they could have refunded my money. But this is the nature of US businesses anymore -- no acts of goodwill. The customer eats the cost of their mistakes. How often does this happen to others? Tired of mindless, uncaring, answers.
