Today, Hugterra™ is a thriving brand, with a loyal following of customers who swear by our innovative massager. And while I may have started the company as a solution to my wife's neck issues, I'm thrilled to know that my product has made the necks, and lives of countless others significantly better.

I have called and emailed and have not gotten a response I received my back brace and it only lasts for about 10 minutes the back brace is great but takes hours to charge and can only get 10 minutes out of it very frustrated that I can not get anyone to answer either calls or emails.
Response from Hugterra™Sep 21, 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve experienced both with the product and in reaching us. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused.
The back brace should last longer than 10 minutes after a full charge, so it sounds like there may be an issue with your unit. We’d be happy to help resolve this for you, either by troubleshooting together or arranging a replacement if needed.
Please reply to the email we have sent so we can assist you directly and make sure you get the full benefit of your brace.

No response from customer service
I have been trying to contact someone at Hugterra about a non-working piece of equipment. To no avail. I have emailed and called for 4 days and have not received a response or anything. I am so disappointed and frustrated at this point. Why would you sell equipment with a guarantee if your are not going to respond to your customers. This is piss poor service, not to mention an expensive piece of equipment.
Response from Hugterra™Sep 15, 2025
We’re truly sorry to hear about your recent experience and the frustration it has caused. This is not the level of service we strive to provide
Please rest assured that we stand by our guarantee, and we want to make this right for you. We will prioritize resolving the issue with your equipment immediately.
Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we appreciate your patience while we work to turn this around.

Stopped Working in Less Than a Week
I received my Hugterra a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it for several days, but then it stopped working. No matter how long I charge it, it either works for a couple of minutes or not at all. Very disappointing. I emailed customer service but no response. Looks like I'm out the money spent - not cheap - I wouldn't mind but it doesn't work
Response from Hugterra™Sep 7, 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re very sorry to hear that your Hugterra stopped working after only a few days—that’s definitely not the experience we want for you. We also sincerely apologize if you did not receive a response to your earlier email; we never want you to feel unsupported.
Please rest assured, you are not out the money you spent. We will make this right for you. Your satisfaction means a great deal to us, and we’ll make sure this is resolved quickly.

Update on "I would give Hugterra no stars if that…
I just received a response from Hugterra wherein they effectively admit the misleading nature of the refund policy stated on their customer support page where the only address noted for their place of business D is in Lewes, Delaware. The company deceitfully offered my a 70% refund and also "kindly asked" me to consider taking down my review on Trust Pilot. When I accepted the 70% refund offer and promised I said I would take down my initial review after the credit posted to my credit card, I received a reply stating that the company need me to take down the review first and screen shot my "new" review and send it to them. That would then be forwarded to the appropriate department to determine if my new posted review qualified for any refund. I do not want this Hugterra product because it is very cheaply made (I've recently learned in China, not Belgium where the company surprisingly informs customers their returns for any refund must be sent AFTER STATING THAT THERE IS A 60 guaranteed refund if the customer is not satisfied with their product and then lists on the refund policy page of their website the Lewes Delaware address as the address for the company's place of business. Again, I would give Hugterra no stars if that was an option. It is very cheaply made and operates like a piece of junk. The neck massager does NOT work to alleviate nerve pain in the neck as the company advertises, to the contrary, it greatly exacerbated my pain. To reiterate, I immediately emailed customer support to start the return process as they directed expecting at most to be given a return authorization code to note on the return. I was stunned to be informed that I would have to "return" the neck massager to a "Returns Warehouse" in Belgium at "great expense" to me. (Italicized words are Hugterra's) The company offered a 30% refund, allowing me to keep the massager - "perhaps you can gift it". Then a 50% refund. I did not have a chance to reply to these emailed offers from the company so I don't know how sincere and honest they would have proved to be. However, as soon as Hugterra saw my review on Trust Pilot I received the misleading offer to refund me 70% with no contingency or requirements set forth; only Hugterra "kindly requests you (I) consider taking down your (my) review." Again, the Customer Care/Refund Policy on the company's website, which I checked prior to ordering, listed the company's business address as 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, Delaware, 19958. I never imagined the 60 guaranteed refund would require me to ship the product to Belgium "at great expense". This surprise requirement smacks of a deceptive business practice, resulting in the consumer being mislead and deceived as to the return/refund policy and ultimately being defrauded and cheated out of the purchase price of the product by Hugterra. When a company has to engage in these sorts of practices to unload their product, they have no product worth paying for.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience with both the product and the return process—it’s clear we’ve fallen short of your expectations, and we truly regret the frustration this has caused.
We understand that returns can come as an unexpected inconvenience, and we’ll be reviewing how we can make this clearer on our website to avoid any confusion in the future.
Regarding the 30% refund option, this was offered as an alternative to save your time, but we understand it may not have been the resolution you were hoping for. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we will use it to improve our processes and communication going forward.
Please know that your concerns have been noted, and we will work on making the return policy and product details more transparent for our customers.
Thank you again for your honest feedback—it helps us identify where we need to do better.

SCAM! They delivered my $250+ order to the…
They delivered my $250+ order to the wrong address and the customer service has been poor. I sent an email and they said it was sent to richmond. Not even giving the details of the address they sent. On my end it looked like they delivered to Richmond, CA and not my address in Richmond, VA. I called there number and the said they were busy and hung up. Feels like a total scam.
Response from Hugterra™Aug 31, 2025
Thank you for your feedback. We understand how concerning it is when there are uncertainties about delivery, and we’re sorry for the frustration this has caused.
We’d like to reassure you that we have already shared the proof of delivery showing that your order was shipped and delivered correctly to the shipping address you provided at checkout. The courier’s system sometimes abbreviates locations (e.g., showing only “Richmond”), which can cause confusion, but the full address on record matches what you entered.
We take your concerns seriously and are here to assist further if needed. Please let us know if you would like us to resend the delivery confirmation details for your reference.

Disappointed
I purchased the Hugterra directly from their website in March and when it worked it did help. Unfortunately the vibrating feature no longer works and they won’t replace it as it’s past 60 days. I would avoid and spend your money elsewhere.

We're sorry to hear about your experience. While our warranty is 60 days, we understand your frustration. We've noted your feedback for our team. For any further discussion, please reach us out via email.

I contacted Hugterra I told them that…
I contacted Hugterra I told them that after using the machine, my neck was far worse than before. I told him I wanted a refund. They told me that the machines come from Belgium and it would be very expensive for me to return the machine and that they would give me some money back if I gave them a good review on trust pilot. I did give a review and now I am explaining exactly what happened. The machine does not work for me and I don’t know about any other people but for me it made my neck worse. I’ve not heard from them since and I don’t expect to hear from them, but just don’t rely on these reviews because some of them are not as stated.
Response from Hugterra™Aug 31, 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re very sorry to hear that the device did not provide the relief you were hoping for and that your neck discomfort worsened after use. Your comfort and well-being are very important to us, and we regret that this was not the outcome in your case.
To clarify, our products are shipped from the nearest fulfiment center, which is why returns are processed through our warehouse there. We understand that this can sometimes feel inconvenient, and we apologize if this was not made clear enough at the time of your purchase.
We aim to handle each customer’s situation fairly, and we’ll be reviewing your case to ensure it is properly addressed.
We truly appreciate your honesty and feedback—it helps us improve both our products and our service. A member of our team will follow up with you directly to resolve this matter.

You wont get a refund.
Hugterra, it is repulsive that you continue to lie. I counted, our back and forth emails amounted to 17 exchanges all in all because you’ve been offering and encouraging me to take 30%, then 50%, then 60% refund. and all the time I am willing to return your ineffective and uncomfortable product back to Belgium even though you have Delaware as your business address. A 60- day money back guarantee should exactly and simply be that. The truth is, you deceive your customers of that money back guarantee. You’re not truthful about your shipping address. And truthfully, you’re discouraging me to return that thing by offering less than 100% refund.
Response from Hugterra™Aug 15, 2025
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We’re truly sorry that your experience with our product and return process has been frustrating. We understand how important transparency and trust are, and we apologize if our communication caused any misunderstanding.
Our return policy allows for a full refund once the product is returned in line with our guidelines, and our offers for partial refunds were intended only as an option for customers who prefer not to ship items back. We never intended to discourage you from making a return if that is your choice.
We value your feedback and will take this opportunity to improve our process and communication moving forward.
