spying and annoying software
spying and annoying software, but its not their fault that there is demand for such things so i dont put a whole blame on them the 2 rating is because it does what its supposed to do, but you should increase the power user has over his data employers have no right to force you to comply with screenshoting, following what websites you visited etc... but hubstaff gives them ability to force certain features and when you try to disable them on your end, timer wont start because for example screenshoting is REQUIRED remove that option, give people way to choose what is shared

Hi Thomas! Thanks for leaving this feedback! We'll be happy to clarify things further. Employee privacy and empowerment are important to us. With every new feature, we work to ensure team members stay in control, that they understand how the software works, when it's running, and that they have access to all of their data. This is why Hubstaff has the data collection consent feature. You are always in control of what information our desktop time-tracking apps collect. Once you’ve provided your consent, that's the only time you’ll be able to record time. Please take note that if the organization you belong to requires this data and you disable those data types, you will not be able to track time to their projects. With that said, we also want to encourage you to start a conversation with your org owner about this. I hope this helps to explain and clarify but please don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] if you have other concerns. Thanks and have a good day!
