Contacts are great, subscription management is embarrassing
As far as daily contacts go, they are very comfortable. If you don't wear contacts every single day and can't take advantage of the manufacturer rebates that require you to buy a year's worth at a time, this route ends up being more affordable. However, that also ends up being a huge drawback of this service because if you're not an everyday wearer and don't need a new box every month like clockwork, it's actually very onerous to manage your subscription. There are a few options to select for the time between new shipments, but if you're not expecting something at a regular interval that's easy to remember (like the 1st of each month, for example), it's easy to forget when your next shipment is coming. And Hubble has absolutely ZERO communication with you after you sign up! No receipts, shipment notification/tracking, no reminders just ahead of upcoming shipments so you can adjust the timing if necessary. I have used several subscription services for other products and they all have, at the very least, notified when a shipment goes out. This lack of communication has been an enormous problem for me on multiple levels, and when I've mentioned it to customer service they never even acknowledge the feedback. I once missed a shipment, and I didn't even know until a couple weeks after it happened because I was never notified it went out in the first place. It was either accidentally delivered to the wrong address or picked up by a porch pirate, but I had no idea to even look out for it. I also tend to have way more lenses than I need because the onus is on the customer to remember to log in to their accounts to check for upcoming deliveries, many of which I didn't catch in time to skip/delay. After a year with them, I'm so frustrated that I'm cancelling my subscription.
