TERRIBLE.
I submitted a transfer request back in December to roll over my HSA funds to my new employer's provider after changing jobs. Simple, right? Not with HSA Bank. Here we are in JUNE, and the funds are still missing in action. After the initial transfer failed to show up, I followed up in March. I was told a stop order would be placed on the first check and a new one would be sent. Great. Except nothing ever arrived at my new provider. Every time I call, customer service gives me the same robotic reassurance: "We've taken care of it." But it's clearly lip service. They're either completely incompetent, or they just don't care. Neither is acceptable when it comes to people's health savings accounts. This isn't some petty billing error--it's thousands of dollars sitting in limbo, and no one at HSA Bank seems willing or able to take actual responsibility. I've had to chase them down repeatedly, and still have nothing to show for it. Avoid HSA Bank at all costs. Their customer service is useless, their processes are broken, and they clearly have no urgency when it comes to handling your money. I've had it.
