I like most of the features of the program, but there are a couple of areas I would like to see improve. The schedule view is not as easy to follow as a calendar view, the proposal tool is hard to use from a mobile device like a tablet or phone, and the price book is clumsy to use.

I recently prior to Xmas had drain problem. I called several plumbers, one (Petersen Plumb.) wanted $300 just to come out. Then I call T&M Plumbing later in the afternoon, and they called back next morning. I never got a call back from anyone else. He was out here and charged me $130.00 for the full service! What an amazing app. We have used this application since the day we founded our business just over a year ago. It does everything we need it to do and more. My clients love the transparency that it produces for contact. My helpers love the on screen tip functionality (just last week, one helper made more in tips than his wages). One of the biggest benefits that I wasn't anticipating is the integration of the "finish" text which allows for a link to my Google page for ratings. In just over a year I have already accrued 55 reviews! For perspective, there are other companies like mine that have twice that, but been in business 7-15 years longer. I have had many companies try to lure me away but there just isn't enough to pry me away. I hope that this is a very long term business relationship. Very excited to be a part of the Housecall Pro family.

Took my business to another level

A good software for starting out businesses, needs a good amount of work to make it complete package but luckily it integrates well with alot of good software. Pros: Cost, ease of use (mostly), good community, integrated apps work okay, great start, Cons: lacks alot of features even cheaper software use. It has good integration with good softwares but also feels like a cop out, they really need to either buy the software like OnCall air and company cam, port them into HCp or finally develop one of there own that works just as good. Ease of use is good for the most part but it gets confusing trying to get to customers notes or job notes or if there on a service plan if they are gotta do to many steps to get to it. Needs a good UI upgrade and specific position UI's like dispatch, office admins, technician to.make it more useful for them. Overall don't regret it i have high hopes it continues to develop better functions by HCp and not just integrate with someone else. It has the audience i feel to keep supporting it, but if it keeps being this low function I'll probably have to switch to something more powerful.
