HoufyReviews of houfy.com

What an amazing platform that’s free to hosts to list their properties. I am a host. It’s easy to use and integrates with calendars on other platforms. You can accept payments with stripe, square, credit card, PayPal, etc. This is for direct bookings and I do my own marketing. As a guest, it’s so nice to avoid the fees charged by other platforms and houfy shows how much I save. I’m thankful for Houfy and it’s creators. They are passionate about their site and have excellent direct customer service. You’ve got to give it a try!

We have been a member of Houfy for quite some time now, ever since there OTA's started charging ridiculous fees to renters and hiding the phone and email contacts from each other. I love talking to my potential guests to make sure my rental is a good fit for them. Houfy allows us to do that. Houfy is to us what they use to be, it is growing and more people are finding out about it all the time. The administrators are open to suggestions and always trying to make sure they are including everything that the members are asking for. I asked about how something was worded in their marketing and they looked at it and changed it immediately. I was actually surprised that it happened that fast. We are all part of a team, and I like that. They are constantly evolving, which you must do in order to grow. I have had potential guests email me and ask if I am on Houfy. My hope is that they will be around for a long time and be a household name to all who want to rent a holiday home.

I use Houfy for my direct booking website. I love that it's easy to use. It also saves my guests money because it doesn't charge fees to hosts and guests. I also like using Houfy for personal vacations. I like booking direct so I get the best prices and can interact with hosts directly. Houfy doesn't censor information between hosts and guests. If I am asked a question about the local area, I am able to send links and phone numbers to guests. Other vacation rental websites censor the info and my guests can't see the links or phone numbers I send.

I’ve been using Houfy for hosting my short term rental since ‘21. The design and template is easy to use. If I want a quick check of my bookings I always go to my Houfy calendar as it is accurate and clear. I give my returning guests this booking option to save so much $. When I have a question I receive the answer promptly. There is no intereference like the other platforms. Anywhere you advertise ie. Website,IG,Facebook use the Houfy link for booking. I get twice the bookings with Houfy (because I only use it as my booking link) than the other two major platforms. No fees. We all benefit.

I’m a host who has had repeat guests from the ‘name brand’ short term rental platforms. I can import all my reviews from those platforms to Houfy, ensuring guests I’m legitimate and a good host. Houfy doesn’t charge the booking fees like the big players do and hosts and guests work directly with each other. This approach of direct communication allows guest and host an even playing field whereas sometimes one or the other feels like the underappreciated step child. Imagine a site where there aren’t additional fees, wow!

Houfy is an excellent platform for both host and guest. Is transparent, no fees and allow for direct communication between the owner and the guest while enjoying all the automation benefits of the booking engine.

I've been a host on houfy for a few years. Great support. Great way to save the expensive fees of other listing sites.

Great community. Houfy is a place where hosts and guests can connect and avoid crazy high service fees. The trust is between individual hosts and guests. That being said all users should use common sense as they do not serve as a big brother, they merely connect people.
