Hi Linda, Thank you so much for the kind words. We love hearing from fellow New Yorkers who still appreciate the flavor that comes from the northern orchards. We’ll be shipping great apples right through June — always fresh from the farm to your door. If you’d like a discount code toward your next order, just email us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to send one along. Refrigerate, enjoy, and order more — now through June. Thank you, The Honeycrisp Team Honeycrisp.com

Hi Emily, We’re very sorry to hear you were disappointed with the Jonagold apples your father sent. We completely understand how special these gifts are meant to be. As we explained in our emails with both you and your father, ½ bushel cases are a lower-cost option that we note online as carrying some risk of bruising in shipment. This is mentioned several times throughout the ordering process. The apples themselves were fresh-picked at shipping, but larger fruit like Jonagold can bruise more easily in transit, especially when shipped across several states. The higher cost on this order came from the overnight shipping option your father chose, not from the apples themselves. The owner of Honeycrisp.com personally called and emailed your father and you to address the situation directly. We always strive to do better and are glad you reached out so we could explain how the process works.
