HonestPetReviews of honestpet.com

We started our search for a new family member. After some unsuccessful experiences, we finally came across HonestPet. From our first contact with Gabrielle, we knew we had finally found a place where we could adopt our new puppy. The communication was excellent and they were reassuring they worked with only the finest breeders. We picked an adorable Cavapoo puppy we named Riley Rose. The HonestPet transport coordinator Michelle and the travel nanny Alex ensured our puppy arrived safely. All health records were provided and we could not be happier. Would highly recommend HonestPet.

Excellent experience! Julie found me the perfect cavapoo puppy, communicated with me through the entire process, set up transportation and my sweet puppy arrived just as planned. I could not be happier with the service I received from HonestPet and especially the representative that helped me-Julie. Thank you soooo much!

We had unexpectantly lost our 4 yo Cavapoo, and had a gigantic hole in hearts that needed to be filled. We searched locally, with no luck. An internet search brought us to quite a few options, but many seemed rather sketchy. HonestPet, and their representative, Gabrielle, allayed those fears, answering all our questions and concerns. Gabrielle worked with us throughout the process and genuinely seemed to be a pet lover who really enjoyed what she was doing. Our little Godzilla (insert smile emoji here:) has been exactly what we needed. He came to us happy and contented, and has only built on that. Sincerely, we thank you, HonestPet and the breeders you work with

Gabrielle was always very communicative, knowledgeable, friendly, positive and eager to thoroughly help me and answer any questions or concerns. If she didn’t know the answer, she’d reach out to the breeder. She also proactively researched another company I’d been speaking to that seemed like a scam (& they were, be careful). My puppy’s breeder Bryan was wonderful too. I requested a virtual meet and greet which was wonderful because I got to see my puppy’s temperament which was perfect for me, social, friendly and engaged. The breeder agreed to hold my puppy for a while after I paid so I could complete another trip commitment. Matt the transport manager was very positive, engaged and friendly and eased any concerns I had about the transportation process. My puppy arrived and reached over to kiss me as soon as I took him into my arms. The only ask I’d have is to let the dogs relieve themselves before knocking on the new owner’s door so they don’t immediately go on the floor upon arrival. The driver shared (when I asked) that they’d had 12 puppies in the puppy van which seems too much for two companions to handle adequately. The only concerns: 1. Upon arrival, I quickly realized he had a bad ear infection. 2. My pups vaccination records were listed as weeks (not dates provided) and without the dogs name, making it challenging for my vet to administer updated vaccines. 3. My puppy also has a noticeable umbilical herniation which should have been caught by the breeder’s vet before delivery, it’ll cost $300-$400 for the necessary surgery. HonestPet covered the cost of the ear infection and paid $150 towards the surgery. Thanks for an overall smooth process with constant communication. He’s been the best puppy and a pure joy.

I found HonestPet online and fell in love with a puppy. I had a wonderful person chat with me regarding the puppy and I decided I wanted her. All this was done within a hour of chatting. I paid in full - No deposit then puppy was exactly 8 weeks old and could be delivered with a few days. I went home and began to think about my dog who passed last June. I spent the next hour crying and I knew I couldn't take this beautiful puppy, I wasn't ready. I texted HonestPet immediately (within 3 hours of paying) and told them it wasn't the right time to get a puppy. I heard nothing. The next morning I texted again and they tired to talk me into it. I said no and asked for my $2610 to be returned. They told me I would lose $500 because the breeder held the puppy for 3 HOURS. I asked for the return policy and it does NOT state that I couldn't get a full refund. It states you may lose your deposit. I didn't give a deposit and it was a matter of 3 HOURS. The breeder is now selling the puppy for over $4000! $500 may not seem like a lot of money to the breeder but it is to me. Now when I am ready to get a puppy it won't be through HonestPet. UPDATE ON MY REVIEW HonestPet called and the situation was handled quickly and professional. I am very impressed with HonestPet and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for helping me. I will in the future be getting a pupply and I am 100% going to use them!!! Thank you HonestPet.

I told my cousin bout this site. We love our new dog.

We got our sweet dachshund from Honest Pet! Matt was SO helpful the entire process. He was over communicative with the entire process. I can’t recommend them enough. We even got a box with everything we needed mailed to us before we got our sweet pup!

The staff from honest pet had been so kind and helpful when helping choosing our newest family member, Milo. The webpage is very friendly and easy to use. What I found most important is that they promise and deliver all the information to ensure your puppy is healthy and you feel comfortable. Julie gave me an incredible follow up and helped me to understand what would be best for my family and the new puppy. AfterMilo came Home they continued caring about how is he doing and how do we feel, which made us very happy, because they want their puppies to have a great family and not only “sell”. Gabrielle was also amazing and after a month of getting Milo they continued to check how do we feel with the puppy. I think this is one of the most honest and great places to look for a puppy, since they are transparent with the breeder and the customer. Highly recommended!! Amazing service, incredible team and remarkable experience!
