This is fair feedback - we can always improve messaging to make things more clear. We do mention the membership before purchase and that information is available on the primary page of HoneHealth.com, but making this more obvious from the jump is something we can work on for sure! The initial order is for advanced lab panels (testing) + doctor consult with a specialist. There's zero commitment to begin treatment with Hone. We don't gate keep your labs results, so unlike other companies, you're free to take those and shop around. The $65 for those labs + consult, is far and away the most affordable option in our industry. When it comes to starting treatment, regular labs and follow-up consults every 3-months is a requirement, not just from Hone, but from any reputable healthcare provider. The Hone membership covers those follow up labs + doctor visits every 90-days, plus non-routine doctor visits when necessary, free 2-day shipping on all orders, access to the Care Team, and private access to Hone's online member community. Although the above membership isn't cheap, it's much more affordable and convenient than traditional healthcare. Typically, you'll have to jump through some hoops to see a specialist who 'might' submit a lab order that covers the depth of Hone's advanced panels. If they do, the cost of those labs (even with insurance) will most likely be hundreds of dollars. Even then, if your doctor is willing to prescribe the level of precision medication that Hone offers, the cost of those treatments will be expensive. Definitely shop around with your labs and check out costs across the marketplace. The door is always open if you want to come back and start treatment with Hone : )
