We certainly regret you are less than satisfied. If an item has never worked during the warranty period, it is considered pre-existing and is not eligible for coverage. Also, a claim has to be filed before a contractor arrives in the house. Work done without authorization is not eligible for reimbursement. Matt was conveying what is written in the terms of the agreement. Our area rep Scott stepped in and provided money towards the claim as a gesture of goodwill.

We actually did not receive a copy of the paid invoice until end of March and sent the refund check out within three business days. The previous item was only a partial invoice and did not indicate payment had been made to the contractor. If you do not receive your refund check within 7-10 days, let us know. E-check is an option as well.

So sorry to hear you were less than satisfied - when picking your own contractor, it can be a bit more work but you do have the freedom of choice on who to use then. Thanks for the feedback.

We approved the maximum amount allowed under your Core plan. We have other levels of plans with higher payouts but they do cost more. We certainly regret you were less than satisfied with your water heater replacement. We aim to be as transparent as possible by publishing our payouts in the terms and conditions.

We covered the amount of the service call above your $100 deductible plus dollars towards your control board. You did have a claim from last year that we requested the home inspection on but do not see where that was received. We regret that you were less than satisfied. We have processed your request to cancel.

We are so sorry you were less than satisfied. We aim to communicate clearly through email, over the phone and text if necessary. We do need a copy of a completed work invoice rather than an estimate and that can take an extra step at times. We will work to improve our ease of service.
