I've been paying for this home warranty for 19 years. However, when my 32-year old A/C unit failed, I was offered a fraction of what it would cost to fix it. I would have been FAR better off to save my money over 19 years than pay for this useless warranty. Needless to say, I promptly canceled and would not recommend.

I wish I can give this place zero reviews.They are the most horrible customer service. They don't fix but they break stuff, and they want you to pay over and over again. So the mechanic comes back and they still charge you every time. I will never, ever go back with them.I will cancel my policy. Do not get it that's horrible.

Horrible experience! Been waiting since April of 2025 for them to send somebody out to fix our AC unit. They sent out a company that did more damage and our unit never worked after that. Keep in mind we paid this company $365. $100 for their service call then the company said we needed a new capacitor which they put on and also a 6 lb of freon. The company the home warranty sent out left and not even 10 minutes later our AC unit never worked again. When I call The home warranty company Matt who is a supervisor was very rude and also raised his voice at me! Finally home warranty sent out a new company and again I had to pay another $100 service call even though the home warranty company is who sent the first company out that did not do the job correctly. When the new company come out they told us that the 1st company the home warranty sent out had the wrong capacitor on and it wired wrong! Ridiculous!

The process seems flawed. Business spoke bad about having to deal with you and not getting paid. Then I haven't been paid. After your reply , I verified and no I didn't receive anything.

One cycle of my dishwasher caused the spinning arm underneath to adhere to and melt on the heating element. Apparently, because one of those things had to happen before the other, you only paid for one item obviously there was no way for me to turn off the dishwasher and know that this had happened in the middle so I would call this one occurrence. Only paying for $150 is extremely disappointing. The rude tone of the person who was very unhelpful on the phone was also very disappointing. It’s very upsetting that I’ve paid for the service to handover with the sale of my home.

The overall claim process was disappointing. Establishing a claim itself was easy. Your company's acknowledgment of my submission of the details of my claims was time consuming and frustrating. I submitted emails on one claim 3 times, and every time I followed up with a call to confirm receipt of those emails, the representative said they never received my emails. It wasn't until I contacted the selling agent of the warranty that I received some actual help with the process. I also find it rather misleading that your warranty literature doesn't detail the limits of claim coverage upfront. My cost of repair was $1,575, yet your company only covered $1,000. The claim payout process was also confusing at best. Had a heck of a time getting my bank to confirm the printed paper check was valid. Why not offer direct electronic deposit to a checking account without requiring an account and taking 3-4% of the funds transferred? So many opportunities for improvement. I will never purchase a home warranty product again from any company as a result of this experience.

After I left a great review thinking everything was worked out between Home Warranty and the contractor who fixed my AC, update it was not. Home Warranty never paid for anything or followed up. I contacted the billing office for Home Warranty and they said they sent a check which they could never confirm was cashed with the contractor who never received the check. So basically they did not pay for anything and now the contractor is coming back at me to pay for the full amount because Home Warranty could not communicate. Horrible service by Home Warranty and I would never recommend. Canceling my policy with them as soon as possible. All I asked was for them to send me the check instead because I paid for the full amount after they failed to do what they said they would do. I provided an invoice as well as proof of payment. And if that is against their policy to send checks directly to the policy holder well then figure it out because who pays for your policies?. The customers that trust you with the warranties in place. Warranties that you can not convert on. Very disappointed but happy to know now I will not be keeping the warranty policy in place. The over $2k I have paid for the warranty policies with no help and horrible customer service. Never use them as a home warranty service
