I thought a warranty was so I wouldn't have any unexpected bills in relation to having just bought a home. This policy does not give that.

Customer service was great. The process to make claims is not. Having to pay $100 out of pocket for a derive call is boarderline too expensive. The idea of getting reimbursed defeats the main need home owners have for a home warranty. Many of us can’t afford the high costs of replacing a machine, the reimbursement amount didn’t cover the full cost of replacement. Home warranty is not an ideal company to work with. We are not staying.

Not much is covered anymore

After having this warranty paying 54.00 a month for 14 yrs and used it for mini claim of a few hundred dollars.our air went out ..we only got $1000.00 pd of the 8. It cost us.so not worth it.company putting in unit cand j was wonderful.but im considering looking for new warranty company.

I liked the ease of choosing contractors I did no like that it wasn't clear what the approval entailed. The contractor indicated we needed to replace the unit. The insurance approval, we assumed, was based on that. We got only a check for the cost of a compressor which was 10% of the cost

Claim was approved but reimbursement was never received. I contacted them again and asked to submit information to which I replied the claim was already approved. Now received another claim approved so we'll see if reimbursement is ever received.

You did not pay for the replacement of the appliance that went bad and I still do not have a check

The beginning and middle of the process was very smooth. The representatives were dynamic. I gave the quote of $575 that the technician provided to the representative over the phone. I did not include the $85 service charge in the quote but immediately called back to add. I was told once I submitted the invoices it would be rectified. However, once I received the payment less the deductible, the check amount was only $475. I reached out on 5/5/26 to get clarity. I received a follow-up call on 5/6/26 at 8:12 AM central time from Jim/Ron with the breakdown of what was paid after the invoices were received. While I totally understood him, he continued to over talk me until I had to say to him "please let me finish". He proceeded to say that my claim was already paid $90 more than what it should have been. I understood but I suggested that what he was trying to explain apparently wasn't the same "thought process" as the person who paid the claim because I still got the amount that was quoted less the deductible. I spent a total of $646.75 on this repair and was expecting $546.75 based on the receipts submitted. If there were factors that would not have warranted me the expected amount after the receipts were submitted, then it should have been communicated to me via email or phone. I highly recommend that all staff be thoroughly trained to "speak the same language" so that this will not confuse the customer and/or leave an expectancy of any funds that were spent on a repair to be reimbursed.
