We were unaware that each time a repair man came to service our washer it took away the value of replacing the washer. I believe that the Home Warranty policy change is not worth the cost of the warranty. After 3 service calls & part replacements on a $1,000 washer, we received $40 to replace it with. However, after 3 service calls & part replacements on our $600 dishwasher, we received a reimbursement of $400 for it. It’s not worth the cost of the program. We canceled our account. Our repairman also was not aware of the cash out option.

I was very disappointed in the service and conclusion we received. My washing machine stopped working. We called home warranty right away. They took our call. They then advised me to bring out your own repair man and het a quote to fix the machine which we did. It happened on Christmas Day so obviously we couldn't do anything until the next day. The repair man came out gave a verbal estimate for a belt and other possible parts directly to the home warranty representative that he thought it was but stated that he couldn't not really tell 100% until he got at least the belt in. The service man had more than one conversation with home warranty. Long story short, the washing machine parts could no longer be found!! So conclusion there is $100 deductible which I fully understand. However, the maximum claim amount we received was $125. I paid $100 for the service call. So you tell me why do I even have a home warranty? They did nothing for me. And I asked for the manager to see if maybe we could maybe get somebody else out or come up with somewhat of a reasonable amount for help towards a replacement washer. He said "why it doesn't matter you can't get the parts."He was very rude and condescending towards me - told me to carefully read my warranty policy. i've used them in the past and when I could not have another appliance repaired because the cost would've been so high, they did give me some money towards a new appliance i was satisfied with. I don't believe I deserve the tongue lashing nor do I think my claim was handled properly.

Over the 3 years that we have had this company as our home warranty company, we have continued to be disappointed in the ever-decreasing quality of service.

Thought I bought a policy that would cover the expense of the repair, force you to go to certain repair shops-you pay the difference!

Experience has been exhausting. Total rip off.

Did not honor their own written agreement. Never again will I choose their services. Will warn others.

Easily the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Terrible experience, I wish I could leave zero stars.
