As expected so far. Pretty straight forward process. They help me identify multiple property, then I select the one I like and then they help me with the whole purchase, even loan. Best part that it rented out 3 weeks after I purchase. Hopeful that everything continue to go good for me.

Let me start by saying every real estate investment has inherent risks involved. HomeUnion provides a platform and a team of Professionals that help to mitigate the risk when investing in real Estate. I have one property that has been performing, as predicted. I have heard skeptics of HomeUnion complain about the some of the purchasing fees involved in working with HomeUnion. I feel that the fees are appropriate. If you think of the time, and money you would spend to research properties on your own HomeUnion is a bargain!

HomeUnion has been a solid company to work with on investing in rental properties. They have very competent teams that handle all aspects from identifying property, an easy finance process, good communication on rehabbing it to standards, securing tenants and providing an overall portfolio view of your real estate investments.

I started investing with HomeUnion in 2015 and they have greatly improved over the years. I am happier with the way HU handles investments, management of monthly rent, renewing lease, rehab and finding tenants. I have looked at similar investments and none come close to what HU offers. This is a great diversification of my investment. I am looking forward to continuing investing with HU in the coming years.

I generally had a good experience through the buying process. My only concern would be that the online platform can somewhat understate the amount of cash equity needed to complete a transaction, especially if rehab is required. I'd consider changing how that's presented. Equity holders may need a bit more basis than what appears on the HU financials.

This was my first ever experience purchasing real estate and my team at HomeUnion did an excellent job. I was very pleased with their knowledge and quick turnaround time. Thomas was an excellent point person who returned my calls and answered any questions I had. The lending team was also very responsive and made what could have been a stressful or nervous situation very seamless. Two areas that might benefit from some improvement are: a. the closing costs were a bit higher than expected. It wasn't so much the cost as the "being unexpected" part. And b., the property management rehab estimations seemed high. The house purchased was relatively new and I wasn't expecting to potentially have $10,000 in expenses. That being said, the team did everything they could to do a great job and I was very pleased with the result. I will most definitely consider using HomeUnion again when looking for another investment property. -Also, I love the website and having all of the records in one place.

The experience was no more difficult than buying a primary residence. There is the usual back and forth with the mortgage company, seller, etc but the website made it easy to keep track. No it's just write the mortgage check and see the money for rent deposited in my account. Great investment.

Real estate investment is always challenging and can be very time consuming. HomeUnion has come up with a great solution that should optimize return while minimizing risk. Plus they offer soup-to-nuts management, initial rehabilitation, and maintenance of your rental properties, and even organize all of the paperwork and transaction records online. The fee structure seems fair, but could use more explanation. The only challenge I have had is ensuring a full accounting of the transactions - they have been slow in responding to requests for account reconciliation. Overall I have been very pleased with the people involved and the transactions and intend to continue to invest and work with HomeUnion.
