Trust Pilot took your original review down because they determined you are not our customer and never purchased from our store. You visited our website and spoke to one of our sales representatives via the live chat. You asked a specific question about the material used in a specific stove. The agent let you know we did not have that information, but we can reach out to the manufacturer and get back to you via email once we have an answer. You then demanded that the sales agent calls the brand immediately. He tried to reach them but was unable to. We again offered to inform you via email once we have an answer back. You made several rude remarks and ended the chat. We take pride in offering a fantastic service to the tens of thousands of customers we have had. Thank you for your review Jamille. Your original Forno vent hood did arrive damaged. A replacement is automatically shipped out if an order is refused due to damages. When the replacement arrived, you told Forno you did not need it and wanted a refund. However, Forno did not inform us, which is the reason for the delay in your refund. Once you notified us that the item was returned, we processed your refund. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience this may have caused. We are working with Forno to update our system to avoid this from happening again in the future. We are happy to hear you were refunded and your renovation was completed. All the best!

Thank you for your feedback James, and we apologize for the bad experience you had with your order and for the long wait in receiving your ILVE range. ILVE stoves are custom orders that are handmade in Italy. Due an increase in demand during for ILVE appliances in the last 2 years, coupled with the Covid restrictions and a reduce workforce in the same time period, the wait times have increased dramatically. When the order was placed we notified you, however when you asked for an update we had to reach out to ILVE and let you know instead of sending you the information ahead of time. We apologize about that and are working a software to help with automatic updates to avoid this in the future. The range did finally arrive and ship out, however, due to a systems error with the ILVE’s logistics software we did not receive the tracking number once it left their warehouse. We understand that the courier calling to schedule a drop off date was surprising to you since you did not receive the tracking number in advance. We always want to have our customer have enough notice so they can take time off work to receive their new appliances and this is not how we strive to do business. We apologize for this error and are working with the ILVE shipping team to fix this glitch. We are glad you were able to receive the range and glad you accepted our 5% off refund to compensate for the miscommunication and delay. We hope you enjoy your ILVE stove!

Hi Aaron, we are sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience. Unfortunately, most appliance retailers don’t actually manufacture the goods themselves but source them from different brands. Due to the current COVID-19 impact on the manufacturing process and supply chains, we are subject to delays on certain products. We had a replacement ready to ship for you, however, it was not ready the same day you received your damaged one and would have shipped in 1-2 days. We understood this did not work with your renovation timeline, so we issued a refund to you immediately. We appreciate your feedback and are working hard to ensure we ship replacement units faster in the future!
