The selection is ultra modern. I love my vanity. Salesperson was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Just didn't like the fact that it was curbside delivery only. Would def recimmend.

I'm redoing two bathrooms, I needed a 72" vanity with two sinks. HDOC had one ready to ship from Miami, they said they'd have it to me in two days. I'm thinking I'm all set. . . . and then the trouble began. The shipper HDOC uses, delivered the vanity on the plat to my driveway without me being there. The driver left it in my driveway and had someone (I have no idea who, someone passing by??) sign and he took off. When I got home I opened the box and the marble top is in TEN pieces, the wood base is cracked down the middle the corners are split open. Totally unusable. I call HDOC, we go round and round, "Someone signed for it, it's your problem", . . . they said they were doing me a "favor" by crediting me back my purchase price but they won't have the driver pick it up because it will cost them and they will lose money on it . . great customer service, way to back your products! So now I'm trying to sell my house, I have a broken 72" vanity sitting in my driveway because HDOC won't pay to pick it up, the shipper can't pick up without a place to bring it, HDOC won't accept it. Looks like I'm heading to small claims court for the cost of getting rid of this thing. So go to a store that backs their products. I went to Cabinet Discounters, great place, nice people, delivered a product in good condition and followed up. Once this place has your credit card, you are dirt to them. UPDATE: HDOC, thanks for the reply. I agree, I needed to be here when the delivery occurred, I spoke with PDX the day before, they said they would call on the date of delivery with a time window. I left my cell number and my husband's cell number with Sandra from PDX. The driver did not contact us and instead chose to leave the vanity in my driveway without our approval. Had PDX done their job, the driver would have called, I would have been here, I would have opened the crate and seen the damage and refused the delivery. I DID EVERYTHING I WAS ASKED TO DO, yet here I am stuck with the cost of disposing of a 72" vanity because HDOC won't go to bat for their customer with the delivery company. I have no leverage with them, you are their customer yet you won't help . . . . .guess I'm off to small claims court to get reimbursed.

Dear Sharon, Thanks for your message. The buyer is fully responsible for signing off the delivery receipt. You had to be present to inspect your items. Nothing was noted on the delivery receipt about exterior damage. Therefore we no longer have the right to put a claim for this merchandise that the freight company you claimed to have destroyed. This would have allowed us to pick up the damaged merchandise free of charge. Please refer to our terms and conditions Arrival: Someone must be present at time of freight arrival to accept the package. Please be mindful of the condition in which freight will arrive; open your package carefully upon the arrival of your item and examine whether there is any damage to the item. Before signing the proof of delivery (bill of lading), count the boxes and inspect the package for any potential damage that may have occurred while in transit. It's normal for the packaging to show some wear. Also DO NOT discard your packing materials immediately, in the case you might need to ship item back, all returns MUST be in original package as with any other product that must be returned whether for refund, exchange or replacement. NO EXCEPTIONS. We do sincerely apologize for this trouble on behalf of the shipping company. The vanity was disposed by you in pieces thrown by the entrance of our VA showroom. Aside from this, you have been fully refunded since the day of your complaint. They should be held response for this doing. They would not have dropped off the packaging without the signature. I recieved a crate full of damaged goods that came from the manufacturer and the shipping company. Spent a lot of money for this merchandise. Because I didn't have time to lift 200 pound vanity myself without help it fell out of the 5 day inspection period. Vanity poorly painted - mirror poorly painted - porcelain vanity top chipped. No help from Home Outlet Design!! Way to go for the great customer service and backing the product you sold me.

Dear Borrower, We are sorry about your experience with your purchase. We could not locate your order by the name provided in the review. All packages are inspected at our warehouse thoroughly before they ship and images are taken by our warehouse manager. The inspection period for the items is very important because this is the time that the freight companies allow us to put a claim incase there is anything wrong with the merchandise. The delivery receipt was signed by you as a clear shipment. If inspected within the 5 days, we would have been able to pick up damaged merchandise free of stray and offered a free replacement. I ordered a design element white vanity, arrived in packaging that was well thought out and installed, and delivery was on time as promised. I am actually purchasing another vanity through home design!!!! My counter top, carrara white marble, was prettier than expected vanity in gorgeous condition and sink beauitufl!!!!
