Hombay’s preceded Lawyers Title closed at 53 days instead of the promised 45 so this caused some serious stress to all parties involved however, homebay staff themselves get my 5 star Rating!

I had a great experience selling my home in Silicon Valley using Homebay. The team was very responsive to all of my questions and requests. After a few days of private showings and a very busy weekend of open houses, we sold with multiple offers and the closing went flawless. Homebay was there along the way answering my questions via email and phone and consulting with me regarding each offer. I highly recommend using them if you are willing to do the leg work for selling your own home (flyers, paperwork, non-MLS marketing, open houses, private showings, and answering lots of phone calls from brokers and agents). You must also represent yourself well if you are going to be successful...if real estate agents mistake you for one of them then you're in good shape. Learn their lingo, follow up with them and ask for feedback along the way. Honestly, it's not for everyone, but if you fit the bill - you're business savvy, you have the time - it's a full-time job for ~2 weeks in the bay area, you know the art of negotiation, you know the market value of your home and can emotionally detach from it, etc..... then it's a great way to save money!

In my honest opinion, I think Homebay has the right ideal. However, they need to spend more money in customer service and support. Almost every time I called, I had to leave a message. No live person to talk to, and a few time, the live person that I talked to, asked the wrong question, like what is my address instead of my phone number, so I didn't get a call back.

I found HomeBay on line after inquiring about home sale by owner. I was so pleased with their explanation of each step from getting the home ready to sell, placing it on the market, and escrow process. Most importantly, HomeBay did all the paperwork for fraction of realtors commission.

Excellent experience and I highly recommend the Homebay team! We saved my Mom $14,000. by using Homebay. Ryan and the team were truly available and helpful at all aspects of the sale. Everything was smooth sailing from start to finish. I only wish I had listened to them from the beginning and priced the home slightly under market, because once I did we got multiple offers and a bidding war ensued. They really know their stuff and I can't thank them enough. I have recommended Homebay to my co-workers and friends as a smart way to save some serious money.

My experience with Homebay was excellent. I honestly wasn't sure about using such a service and had many conversations with a representative before committing. He was informative, helpful and patient in the extreme. Once I did commit, the process moved forward with efficiency. They coordinated everything with their escrow company and kept me in the loop and also answered every question and addressed every concern in a timely way. Mine was not an easy transaction for several reasons unrelated to Homebay; Homebay remained calm and steady throughout, working through all wrinkles and complications. We closed in a little over 30 days, which I considered remarkable. I recommend Homebay not only to save money but to ensure a smooth, problem-solving process.
