Stayed at Double Tree Galveston7=24=2026. At desk had to pay $124 dollars for hotel tax when Galv hotel tax is 15percent. Only paid $199 for package thats $30 tax, but they hit you at checkin and your stuck, also 20 a night for parking. Total extras were$189 on a $199 dollar package. Hotel - bad only sevice elevator working so you shaqre it with maids and all people hauling beach stuff to/from rooms. No pool towels in evening, sometimes key works. intermittent water in shower.etc, Can not believe Hilton puts their name on it.

We were sold on the idea that we would be able to vacation for a fraction of what it costs for us to vacation on our own. That turned out to be a lie. The property taxes that we have to pay nearly equals the cost of booking an overseas vacation on our own, not to mention the fees tacked on to book any room with them. There is no way we will ever be able to recoup our investment by continuing with Holiday Inn Club. The savings are just not there. In fact it costs us more than just doing it on our own. Instead of a savings arm, it has become a huge financial burden. We deeply regret buying into this scam.

The customer service from Holiday Inn Vacation Club has been pitiful. We’ve reached out countless times trying to find a reasonable way to surrender our timeshare, but all we receive is an endless loop of automated replies and generic canned responses. What makes this even more unbelievable is that we do not have an outstanding loan on this account. We are simply trying to give it back, but they won’t let us unless we pay extra fees. To anyone considering buying into this: do not do it. Once you are in, they will make it an absolute nightmare to leave, jumping through endless hoops with zero real assistance from their team. Save yourself the headache and stay away.

Coming from an owner who has paid nearly 200k to purchase 500k points a year plus signature and other upgrades- wprst experience of my life today at the orange lake resort.. Annual meeting to get 50% off activities i was told an express meeting 60 minutes.. im walking back now after two hours because I didnt purchase more- they demanded it get a ride from them to the meeting but said i can find the shuttle back.. walking from the shuttle stop right now.. after they also didnt give me my 50% off activities becauae I went to the wrong podium.. dumb

Worse website I have ever used. Nothing is intuitive My husband and I have spent many many hours trying to use the website. When we go to VIP trips, others complain too. Even the sales people complaint about it. I just spent another hour going over it with a young lady who defends it. I have worked on computers for as long as they have existed - nearly everyday - and I find it nothing but frustrating. For example - one screen after you will out info, there is no "done" "continue" or enter or "next button." Somehow you are just suppose to know to click anywhere on the screen to get to next page????

Do NOT buy into this unless you are able to plan your vacations a year out!!! There is never any availability and I have completely wasted my money. I'm sick over it. I am so angry with the sales person and their manager for leading me astray and promising me that I would have an easy time finding and booking vacations because that is NOT the case at all.

I highly discourage signing up with Holiday Inn. My time with them has been an absolute nightmare, as their actual services do not align with what they originally promised. Furthermore, they are currently refusing my requests to terminate my account.

Exorbitant fees mean the resorts offer poor value, and we are now trapped in a never-ending obligation that they refuse to release us from. I deeply regret entering into a contract with this company, as they are unequivocally the absolute worst. My strong advice to others is to stay far away from this absolute nightmare!
